After Rhaze handed Frima his uniform, the other members immediately received their respective missions, sent by the headquarters through Ray and Rhaze as intermediaries.
Rhaze then turned to Frima and handed him his first mission. He also asked Hina to accompany Frima on this assignment.
"Hina, please accompany Frima on his first mission. Even though it's just an F-rank mission, he's still new to dealing with other dimensions," he said in a commanding tone.
Hina nodded in agreement. "Understood, Leader Rhaze. I'll go with him."
Rhaze then informed them of the dimensional door's location.
"This is the door's location. It's in dimension 5450, connected to dimension 6782."
"All right, I understand," Hina replied with a nod. She then began preparing her equipment.
Rhaze turned back to Frima and told him to change clothes.
"Frima, put on your uniform now—and also… good luck," he said with a smile, giving him a thumbs-up.
"All right." Frima nodded and quickly changed clothes, then headed to the dimensional door room with Hina to enter dimension 5450.
Upon arriving in Dimension 5450, Frima was instantly awestruck by the world beyond his own. He looked around and found himself standing in a vast grassy plain, with a small village visible in the distance.
Suddenly, Hina tapped his shoulder, snapping him out of his amazement.
"Come on, let's go," said Hina with a smile.
Frima nodded. "Yeah."
The two of them started walking across the plain. Along the way, Hina explained a bit about F-rank missions to Frima.
"Let me explain a bit about F-rank missions. They're the easiest type and also fairly rewarding."
Frima tilted his head curiously. "Rewarding?"
Hina nodded. "Yes, because when we enter an F-rank dimensional door, sometimes we end up right in front of the dimensional key—or at least somewhere easy to reach, like an abandoned castle."
She continued, "And if we happen to land in the middle of a city, the good thing is we can buy things like food supplies."
Frima nodded in understanding. "Ah, I see."
"Yes," Hina went on, "Oh, about the translator device—Rhaze probably forgot to explain the earphones he gave you."
Frima rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Yeah, you're right. Do they work the same as the translation collar?"
"Exactly," Hina nodded, "But there's a difference. These earphones translate what others say to you, while the collar translates what you say to them."
"Okay, I get it." Frima nodded, then asked again, "Hey, Hina. Your name sounds Japanese. Are you from a different dimension's Japan or something?"
Hina furrowed her brows. "Japan? I don't know what that is," she answered innocently. "I only know about katanas. As for my name… it was given to me by Saito-sensei when I joined the 'Nameless'."
Frima looked surprised. "'Nameless'? What do you mean?"
Hina sighed before explaining. "In my original dimension, Beastmen aren't allowed to have names. We're considered the lowest race compared to humans. Many of us were enslaved… forced into labor, turned into assassins, or even worse things."
Frima listened with a serious expression.
"At that time, I was almost sold as a slave… until Leader Rhaze saved me. He brought me to the base, and then Saito-sensei gave me this name." Hina gazed up at the sky, her voice slightly trembling.
After a moment of silence, Frima asked again, "So… do you hate all humans? Including me?"
Hina slowly shook her head. "I used to, maybe. But after traveling through many dimensions, I realized not all humans are the same."
She looked at Frima and smiled gently. "Especially you, Frima. You're a human with a kind heart."
Frima was silent for a moment, then smiled faintly.
"Heh~ really?"
"Yes," Hina replied with certainty.
After a long walk across the grassy fields, Frima and Hina finally arrived at a village—the location where the dimensional door appeared. They made their way through the simple village streets until they reached an empty field where the door stood tall.
Without hesitation, they stepped through. The moment they passed the door, the scenery changed drastically. They now stood in the middle of a bustling city square. But before they could process their surroundings, a group of royal guards quickly approached.
"Stop right there!"
Several spears were immediately pointed at them, their sharp tips just inches from Frima and Hina's bodies.
"Who are you two?" barked one of the guards sharply.
Frima turned to Hina with a nervous expression. "Uh, Hina… what should we do?"
Hina remained calm and merely gave a small smile. "Don't worry. Leave this to me."
With confident steps, she moved slightly forward and introduced herself.
"My name is Okami Hina, a member of the Keeper of Dimension Door organization. We've come to request an audience with your King."
One of the guards raised a suspicious brow. "The King? Why would you want to meet him?"
"We need to discuss something very important—regarding the key to this dimension's door."
The guards exchanged glances, clearly showing their hesitation.
"And what proof do you have?" another guard narrowed his eyes. "How do we know you're not a threat?"
Murmurs of agreement echoed from the other guards.
"She could be a spy!"
"Or a hired assassin!"
The air buzzed with accusations and suspicion. But without warning, Hina swiftly drew her katana from its sheath—and tossed it onto the ground in front of the guards.
The metallic clang of steel against stone echoed through the square.
Everyone fell silent, their eyes now fixed on Hina's katana lying on the ground.
With a firm voice, Hina spoke, "We have no guarantees. But if we meant any harm to your King, you may execute us on the spot."
The resolve in her voice caused the guards to look at each other again. Some of them seemed unsure, but after murmuring amongst themselves, one finally gave a nod.
"Very well… follow us."
With that, the two of them set off toward the castle to meet the King. Upon arriving at the palace, they were escorted to the audience chamber, where a dignified man in regal robes sat upon his throne.
In front of them stood Auguste Van Lionheart, the King of the Lionheart Kingdom.
Hina and Frima immediately knelt respectfully.
"Your Majesty, allow me to introduce myself. I am Okami Hina, and this is my companion, Frima Erlangga," Hina said.
Frima also lowered his head. "Respectful greetings, Your Majesty."
Hina continued, "We come as representatives of the Keeper of Dimension Door to request—"
However, before she could finish her sentence, King Auguste raised his hand, halting the conversation.
"I have already received reports from the guards. You appeared from the dimensional door in the middle of the city square, correct?"
Hina nodded. "Yes, Your Majesty."
King Auguste leaned back against his throne. "And your purpose here is to take the key to that door?"
"Precisely, Your Majesty. This is for the safety of your kingdom."
King Auguste nodded slowly, then stood up from his throne. "Before anything else, allow me to introduce myself. I am Auguste Van Lionheart, King of the Lionheart Kingdom."
He gave a slight bow as a gesture of respect.
Frima, who had been observing, was slightly surprised. "Heh~ I thought he would introduce himself arrogantly, but he didn't. He has a humble demeanor, just like in the movies," he thought to himself.
After the brief introduction, King Auguste turned his serious gaze back to Hina. "Please explain further about the key and the dangers of the dimensional door."
Without hesitation, Hina went on to explain in detail the function of the key, the risks associated with the dimensional door, and the potential threats if the door were left open without supervision.
King Auguste listened attentively, then sighed. "I understand… If this truly concerns the safety of my people, then I cannot allow the door to remain open."
He waved his hand, signaling to his attendant. "Bring me the dimensional door key."
An attendant quickly approached and handed King Auguste a small glowing object, which he then passed to Hina.
"Thank you, Your Majesty. We appreciate your understanding of the threat this poses," Hina said while giving a slight bow.
King Auguste smiled faintly. "No need to thank me. Protecting my people is my duty."
"Your Majesty is truly a wise king," Hina complimented. "It's no wonder this kingdom is so prosperous and peaceful."
King Auguste chuckled lightly. "Thank you. However, all of this is not just my doing, but the hard work of all my people."
Hina and King Auguste continued talking about the kingdom's history, its development, and the challenges they had faced. Their conversation was warm, with small laughs exchanged between them.
Frima, watching the interaction, could only remain silent. "Come on… His personal approach is so much better than mine! I'm a former business consultant, and yet I can only sit there and watch…" he thought, feeling frustrated.
After a while, the meeting came to a close. Hina and Frima took their leave to return to the base.
On the way back to the dimensional door, Frima was still staring at Hina with a look of amazement.
Hina noticed his gaze and turned to his. "What's wrong, Frima?"
"Oh... Nothing," Frima quickly replied, turning His face away.
Hina just smiled and took the key to the dimensional door from her pocket, handing it to Frima.
"This is yours, Frima."
Frima took the key, confused. "But... why are you giving it to me? Didn't you do all the work?"
Hina shook her head. "No. This is your first mission, so you're the one who deserves it. I was just helping you. Besides, a Rank F mission doesn't affect me since I'm already at a higher rank."
Frima nodded in understanding. "Alright... I get it."
When they reached the dimensional door, they quickly locked it and returned to the base to report to Rhaze.
