"Nice! This thing really is a god-tier artifact!" Azuma Shoyo said, glancing at the sling ring with a grin. He cast a quick look behind him, then stepped through the dimensional portal.

As his figure vanished, the portal in the room snapped shut and disappeared.

Bang!
The door to the room burst open violently. A furious Cassandra Nova stormed in, trailed by Juggernaut, Azazel, and a few others. But the room was empty—no sign of anyone.
Cassandra Nova whirled on Azazel, her icy glare making him break out in a cold sweat.
"You're sure this is the room?" she demanded coldly.
"No mistake. I assigned him this one myself," Azazel replied.
"Then where is he?" she snapped.
What could Azazel say? He had no idea!
"What a bunch of useless idiots!" Cassandra Nova growled, flicking her hand. Instantly, Azazel and the others sank into the ground, leaving only their heads sticking out, looking utterly pathetic.
"Hmph!" With a cold snort, Cassandra Nova turned and strode off.
"Go! Everyone, get out there and find Shoyo!" Her furious command echoed through the camp.
No one knew what this newcomer had done to enrage their boss, but with Cassandra Nova in a fury, no one dared ask. They obeyed silently, scattering to search for him.
"Shoyo, you'd better hope I don't catch you. If I do, I'll make you wish you were dead!" Cassandra Nova muttered darkly, her eyes glinting with malice as she stared ahead.
In a snow-covered forest, dozens of bodies lay strewn across the ground. They all shared one thing in common: TVA uniforms. These were members of a TVA pruning squad, each armed with a standard-issue stick that could erase people or objects, sending them to the Void. They looked like electrified batons.
This group had once been infamous across the multiverse. But after Loki ascended to the throne of the multiverse, consolidating countless timelines, they'd turned over a new leaf. Under new leadership, their mission shifted from brutally pruning non-sacred timelines to maintaining peace and stability across every timeline.
Still, with such a massive organization, a few bad apples were inevitable. Mr. Paradox, the one Deadpool Wilson encountered, was one of them. To end his job millennia early and prove his worth, he'd tried to use a machine to wipe out Deadpool's entire timeline.
The story of Deadpool and Wolverine was about Deadpool saving his world's timeline and Wolverine finding redemption. But right now, Deadpool and that supposedly "worst" Wolverine hadn't met yet.
