After Azazel left, Azuma Shoyo took a few glances around his room.
It had that classic Void Lands vibe—ramshackle, with steel beams draped in tattered rags, giving off the impression it could collapse any second.
And that bed.
It rivaled the one he woke up on the first time—equally dilapidated.
Azuma Shoyo lost interest after a quick look.
So he stepped out of the room and found Juggernaut standing on the second-floor hallway.
"They call you Juggernaut, huh?"
Azuma Shoyo walked over and stopped beside him. "How long have you been in this hellhole?"
Juggernaut glanced at him, then looked away, saying flatly, "Don't remember. First rule of surviving here: mind your own business."
"Otherwise, you won't last long either."
"Oh? Sounds like you've seen plenty of nosy folks bite the dust." Azuma Shoyo grinned, poking Juggernaut's muscled arm with a finger. "They call you Juggernaut because of these muscles?"
Juggernaut's brow furrowed. This newbie was getting on his nerves.
Meanwhile, on the other side:

Then he phased downward, sinking through the floor like a ghost, vanishing from the little palace.
For now, Azuma Shoyo didn't want a fight with Cassandra. His priorities were using his two extraction chances, then maybe nabbing a hidden achievement.
Last step: take out Cassandra and clear this world.
The instant he grabbed it and bolted, Cassandra—lax a moment ago—shot up, eyes darting around warily.
A second later, she patted her pocket.
Her face darkened instantly.
