"For what it's worth, maybe this can relieve your stress for a moment...", Deva hands me a shiny silver coin with a slight smile on his face.
I of course thank him for his generosity and he leaves the room.
Leaning back on my bed with no one in the room I close my eyes slightly.
"Any..." I mutter under my breath, pursing my lips with some concern.
However, after a moment I simply sigh with resignation, Is it any use worrying about something that happened in a dream?, if those dreams are my past, then, it already happened years ago.
...
Getting up from my bed I decide to take a little walk around the barracks.
Deva told me that it was not necessary to go to practice in the training camp for this day, so I just go for a short walk.
The barracks was built with a material that I don't know, if I go up the spiral stairs at the end I can reach the barracks parapet-walk.
The parapet-walk is wide, and one can see the outside of the barracks.
"Hmph..." I sigh lightly as I look down from the parapet-walk at the huge forest surrounding the barracks, if I jump from here to escape the barracks I would probably die due to the injuries I would have when I hit the ground.
However, I stand watching the immense forest for a moment, simply standing at the edge of the parapet-walk, the light rain wetting my hair and the light wind giving me freshness.
"It's a nice place, Do you think the same as me?", I hear a voice behind me, so I quickly turn around to see who it is.
Looking in the direction of the sound I can see a slightly plump figure, black glasses, and a middle-aged face without grace or ugliness, it is the superior Clarity.
"I... I mean, Lady Clarity... It's a pleasure to see you," Clarity smiles at my hesitant voice, she takes a few steps forward to stand near the edge of the parapet-walk and looks at the forest outside.
"The King built barracks in the middle of the vast forests surrounding the kingdom, the King said it was to prevent enemies from finding the barracks, but... that doesn't seem to make much sense," Clarity murmurs in her always almost expressionless voice.
"Little Wasi... Do you know what the universe is?", Clarity asks while observing the forest, I for my part just look at her, I was about to answer her but she opens her mouth before me.
"The world is a huge planet floating in the universe, although the world is huge, the universe is infinite, which makes the world only a small place, very small indeed..." Clarity turns to stare at me.
"You may think I'm crazy but, I think you have something special, the world will soon be a desert thanks to the void demons, the forces of humanity can't stop their advance, however..." Clarity smiles broadly, she licks her painted lips before sighing with excitement.
"Well... I am in an organization, we will escape from the planet when the void demons finish killing off all life on the face of the earth, I can take you with me... to meet the universe, but, you have to make Kaero fall in love with you..... Do you understand?" Clarity says with a smile.
Again that point, I don't understand what Clarity is really looking for by giving me that kind of mission.
I'm not really striving to make Kaero love me, maybe Clarity is a bit annoyed with that.
"I... I understand..." I mumble nodding my head at Clarity's words.
"No... you don't understand" Clarity frowns as she watches me, "It's important, for everyone, that Kaero falls in love with you, it's really very important, and the sooner the better..." Clarity lets out a tired snort before walking back the way she came.
"If Kaero doesn't fall in love with you, we all lose, not just you, Do you understand?", Clarity walks away with those last words.
I stay in my position for a moment, I slightly observe the seemingly endless forest surrounding the barracks and grimace in displeasure.
"Like I could do that..." I mutter under my breath before sitting down on a nearby rock.
"Why is it still raining?", I ask myself as I raise my head to watch the small raindrops falling from the sky.
I let the rain soak my hair, face and body as I stand and watch the black clouds in the sky blotting out the sunlight.
Through my mind goes the terrarium I saw in my dreams, and then Alberth's face, finally when I hear about Alberth's death.
"What did Alberth expect from me?" I ask myself inside myself, the terrarium, I... hehehe, I miss Any.
I remember something about what Alberth told me in my dreams. He mentioned a ritual he performed, I guess in the bathroom. The first time I dreamed, I was in what appears to have been a school bathroom at night.
Alberth was in that ritual, but... well, I'm jumping to conclusions. I can only wait to dream about "my past" again.
I stay for a while just watching the sky until again a voice brings me out of my thoughts.
"You've been here for a while... the superior Clarity sent me so that you don't end up getting sick and go back to your room..." that's the voice of Huanca, that pineapple-boy.
I, however, just stand there watching the sky, letting the water droplets fall on me.
"Did you hear me?, you have to come back, come back...", Huanca says again.
...
"Wasi, What's wrong with you?" Huanca mumbles, I don't answer, after a minute an icy cold on my right hand brings me out of my memories.
"Fuck!!!" the sudden coldness on my hands pulls me out of my thoughts, I quickly stand up and look at Huanca smiling happily.
"Shit... hey.. Hmph," I look at Huanca with some distrust, "Why is your hand always so cold?" I ask curiously, after all, the same thing happened on the first day of training.
Huanca for his part raises his right hand to look at it, it is a completely normal hand, there is no strange color and it looks healthy.
"Well, maybe my hands are cold, but my body is hot, especially in bed... hahaha", Huanca bursts out laughing making me frown.
"Forget it..." I say before turning around and walking back and forth to the snail stairs.
"Wasi... by the way, tell me you're a real man and at least you already kissed Kaero," Huanca walks up to me and asks a question with a slight smile on his face.
I simply turn around and watch Huanca for a moment, his smile certainly seems a bit macabre this moment, however, he simply seems to be trying to be nice.
"I... well, actually..." I mumble before sighing slightly, "No... Kaero, well, she has a boyfriend," I say before walking back to the Caracol stairs.
Huanca stays in his place for a moment before walking behind me.
" Wow, I guess..." Huanca pauses to chuckle lightly, "You could be the lover, don't you think?"
I snort with slight joy at Huanca's joke.
"By the way, Huanca, Don't you know what happened with Erika?", I ask with slight curiosity, Huanca walking behind me as we both descend down the spiral stairs says nothing for a moment.
