" I think you know what will happen if you resist my orders. So, please me mindful of your actions." Shaska set her feet inside the room.
"What are you doing in my house? Who are you?" Sera stood up and called out the trespasser. Just like a wild animal ready to fight anyone who enters her territory.
"I believe I haven't introduced myself to you, my name Shaska Zana. I am one of the warlord of the kingdom of Uro, member of the council of Ten. It's a pleasure meeting you, Miss Sera." She formally introduced herself with a little bow.
"I am sorry to enter you house like this way, but the thing you just did. I think that piqued my interest in you. Mind telling me what was that?"
"I don't want to. I don't want to you in my house. Get out of here, and never come back."
"Sera don't speak like this.." Silver was worried about what would Shaska's next move, would she try to attack and incapacitate her or, something worse for coming.
"No matter what she does I have to be prepared." His Skills were ready to let go at any moment.
"I see that's how it will be. You are quite well taught no which people to talk with. I respect that, I'll try the other way then." Energy surged through the room, things began thrown back.
Silver rushed to grab Sera, ready to activate lightning and thunder in a second, but the need never came.
" She disappeared...." In a second there vision of ahead of them was cleared, and a bit of mess of rugs, misaligned furniture and the curtains waving in the wind was left ahead of them. There was a second or two, when there was nothing but silence in the room, which was interrupted next.
The sound of the bell ringing soon reached there ears, someone was at the door. "Sera, stay right behind me, we need to check the door."
"Why, that lady could get right at the door. She will attack you when you open it."
"If she wanted to attack me, she would have done it even without telling us that she was here. There is something else, she is trying to accomplish here."
The doorbell rang again, Silver looked at the clock to see that it was the time for the lunch.
"It must a worker bringing us, let us eat before thinking anything."
"A person just broke into our house, and all you want to do is eat. Did you know lady by the way? She was talking to you when she entered the house."
"Stop acting like the most experience person in the room, there are things you don't know. Adults need to act in the best interest of multiple things, you won't get it. In short, yes I have seen her before the rest; I'll tell you all the history later."
The doorbell rang once again, this time Silver had to open. With Sera behind his cover, he slowly walked up to the door. Grabbed a door handle and opened the door.
"Hello, Good Sir. I am here to bring you your lunch. Here is the menu you can take whatever as much as you want."
The waiter dressed in his white shirt and black pants, handed over the overly designed menu card which was riddled with fancy meals of humanity from the other world.
Soon after Sera, the one most angry from the home invasion was now enjoying her favourite food, with a glass of some flavoured water with unnatural amount of sugar. While Silver was left without an appetite, decisions like a adult weren't easy to take.
"There is no way she will let me escape the city." Luckily for Silver, Shaska knew nothing about Silver knowing that she knew everything about the city. But there were more thing to worry about.
"Whatever, could be other approach? Is he bringing more warlord with her? To perhaps... SHit! Shit! Shit!" Silver stepped up from his seat and grabbed his hair by roots.
"Her target is Lisa... she will use my and Sera's connection with Lisa to manipulate us into working for her. I need to think this out, I can't mention her name out loud."
Silver hadn't known Lisa for long, but she already a precious part of his life now. From taking of him, and forming a important bond with Sera, becoming a person he could trust... could he adondon her?
The sound of logical and emotional thoughts hit his head, he was imagining scenarios for both the best and worst, and in none of them could he ever work out saving her without giving up Sera.
「 The system has detected more messages around you. Trying to display translated text.」
「 Run...none.... save... worth... sacrifice... yourself...other... 」
Whatever the system was trying to display wasn't clear on the system, but to Silver it was so clear as they were his own thoughts.
"Save yourself and sacrifice them both. They are not worth your sacrificing yourself."
It was the third option to let them both go and be free for his own. Only Sera aroused Shaska's interest, and Lisa would be spared or maybe used to manipulate Sera, but Silver would be free of both without a problem cultivating in some random forest and getting stronger.
"The pain would be running away would die in days... there much more that needs to be done. I need to save the world, this could a worthy sacrifice..."
"Uncle... Uncle!" Sera's calls brought Silver back into the world of elements from the world of thoughts. " There is something bad going on. I can feel is something is near us."
Silver looked left and right to make sure, he was in his right mind. And then slapped himself on the face. " What are you doing? Why did you slap yourself?"
"Because, I was thinking something which I believe I never should. You should do this every time this happens to you okay, it brings you back to your right mind."
Sera stared at Mercy will a weird look for a good while, made a quick I don't understand that expression and went back to eating.
"There is not much, I can do but I need to figure something out."
The bell rang once again, " What new thing do they want to give us this time?"
Silver walked up to the entry door and opened the handle once again, staring at his dirt ridden boots.
"Yes, what can I do for you?"
" A lot. Looking straight at your guest for starters."
Silver raised his eyes to see Shaska, with the apartment staff standing right beside. There faces mixed with expressions of fear, confusion and some level of excitement of what was going down.
A old man with grey white hair and wrinkled hands, which was most probably the owner of entire building from his expensive engraved clothes and golden rings on the finger told, came forward to speak with Mercy.
"Mr Silver Ventirose. You never informed you were acquaintances with the Lady Shaska, the vision herself. He would have never wanted a ounce of gold from you. I apologise with the deepest regrets and would like to return all the gold that I have taken from you."
Plates of gold purses were brought forth in platters, and places in front of Silver.
"No, I-" before Silver saying anything, the warlord cut him off.
"If now everyone would be kind enough to leave us alone. I will call for any aid if needed." On her orders everyone gave a simple bow and moved away without saying a word.
"Now, we believe you would more open to having me in your house. Can I step inside?"
"Can I say no?"
" Miss Lisa wouldn't say something like that you know. I hoped you learned something from her."
"You are most welcome in your house."
