Selene stood in front of her bed, her blue eyes glued to the box Nikolas had instructed Helen to give her on her way out of the office. Dragging in a deep breath she reached for it, a quiet gasp slipping from her lips the moment she lifted the lid.
Inside the box was the most perfect dinner gown she had ever laid eyes on.
She stepped closer, carefully scooping the gown into her arms. The silk fabric melted between her fingers, smooth and impossibly soft.
