Selene bent down, her fingers lacing up her sneakers. It was Saturday, and the week had been nothing short of exhausting.
Between dealing with Nikolas at the office and Sandy walking out of the house, her mind had been a mess. Not even having enough time to herself to think straight.
Lifting up her gaze to the mirror, she eyed her reflection. Her gaze trailing her outfit, she wore a matching black-on-black tracksuit.
Her eyes flicked to the clock on her desk it was 6am in the morning. Hopefully one hour of jogging before the sun came up might do something to calm her head.
As she passed through the hallway heading toward the stairs, she slowed down her pace on getting to the door of the guest room, the one she'd given Sandy.
Since it was a three-bedroom flat, and Sandy had left their father's house with nowhere else to go, the responsibility of sheltering her had fallen on Selene.
