After parking the car in the garage, James walked into the house and he saw Patty, and Leslie seated in the living area, looking at him with knowing smiles on their faces.
He understood what the smiles meant, immediately, and he decided not to pay attention to it. Because he knew that they would use it to tease him, especially Leslie.
"Good morning, Patty," he greeted, walking up to her and giving her a quick peck.
"Good morning, honey. How was your date and your night?" Patty asked, making sure to emphasise on the word "night".
James smiled when he realised what Patty did.
"The date was great," he replied, before going up to his room.
Leslie, who was seated on another couch, was looking at with an expectant smile and her eyes also held something — longing.
James noticed this and he smiled at her. He would love to hug her there but since they don't want Patty to know of the thing between them, he held himself back.
