Third person point of view
Days went by one after the other without them knowing. Their love life was not really bad but they could only spend so much time together and their intimacy was also limited to kissing. They didn't have the chance to go beyond that. But suddenly, the chance landed in front of them. Dev's parents had to go out of station to visit a relative.
They were ill for a while and so asked to see them and they couldn't reject it. They will be gone for three full days. When Aravind found out about it, without looking at Dev's expression, he knew what he was thinking. He gulped and did not say anything. Dev dropped his parents at the railway station and went back home.
For dinner, he went to Aravind's house and had it with his family. " Uncle, can I take Aravind with me ? It is a little worrying to stay alone in the big house and I can also not leave it like that ". Dev said and Aravind waited for his father's answer. He was nervous inside and also didn't know what answer would make him happy.
His father nodded without thinking much. " Fine. Go stay with him ". Aravind nodded. Dev smiled and thanked him. Aravind turned to Dev. " I will take a bath and come ". Dev nodded. Aravind couldn't calm down at all. It felt like he would have a headache at how much he was thinking. He took a bath, told his family and went to the house.
Aravind gulped hard before ringing the bell. Dev opened the door and moved aside. Aravind walked in. Dev locked it and Aravind sat on the sofa. He turned the light off leaving only a dim light on. Aravind was startled but tried to look calm. Dev went and sat beside him. He leaned his head on Aravind's shoulder.
" What is this ? " Aravind asked and he was already stiff. " There is no need to worry about someone peeking. With all the lights off, they would think no one is there and not care ". Aravind slowly relaxed. " Shall we go to my room ? " Dev asked and Aravind nodded. They got up and went to Dev's room.
" Let's watch something for a while. It is too early to sleep ". Aravind nodded. They sat down and watched YouTube for a while. Aravind yawned and leaned on Dev. Dev looked down at him and turned the TV off. " Let's sleep ". Aravind nodded. He went to the bathroom and came back. Dev also did and got under the covers along with Aravind.
The light was dim but at this proximity, Aravind could see Dev's face right in front of his. Dev made eye contact and lifted his body. He leaned forward and Aravind shut his eyes close. His eyelids trembled a little not knowing what was to come. Dev noticed it and did not know whether to laugh or cry.
He kissed Aravind on his forehead. " Sleep for today. I will not do anything for now ". The low voice rang right near his ear. Aravind bit his lip and avoided eye contact. Dev chuckled and put his hand around Aravind. " Good night ". He closed his eyes to fall asleep. " Good night ". Aravind also replied and fell asleep.
The next morning, Aravind woke up when Dev was to leave to the gym. He went back home and fell on the bed. He did close his eyes and rest but due to his nervousness, he couldn't sleep well the previous night. It didn't feel right. He fell asleep for a while more after going home and this time when he woke up, he felt better.
" I will die if my sleep continues like this ". He mumbled to himself and got on with his day. They went to college and their classes went on like usual. After lunch, they had a free class as their lecturer was on leave. Dev was staring at Aravind with his face resting in his palm. Aravind ignored it at first, but gradually he found it difficult to concentrate.
He buried his face in his arms and groaned. He looked up at Dev who was still looking at him. " Can you please let me be ? " Aravind asked sitting up with a troubled expression. " What did I do ? " Dev asked, shamelessly, still staring at him very much openly. Aravind huffed not knowing what to do. " Look away ".
Dev sat up properly. " Why ? I never said I was looking at you ". Aravind pulled his collar and they were closer now. " Do I look that stupid ? You are staring so hard, my face might catch fire. And you are telling me you aren't looking at me ? " Dev smiled. " If you know I am looking at you, then you should also know why I am right ? "
Aravind pushed him away and continued to write the notes. Dev smirked. His hand slowly sneaked up to Aravind's waist under the shirt making him flinch. " What is wrong with you ? " Aravind asked looking around worried about someone noticing them. " I will deal with you after going home ".
Aravind warned but Dev remained unfazed. His fingers still lingered on his waist, brushing lightly. " If you dare touch me, you will see what I can do ". Aravind said looking serious. Dev nodded and pulled his hand back. " Fine ". Aravind knew he was fine for now and relaxed. But he couldn't forget the feel of Dev's fingers on his skin.
It was light and making him feel slightly itchy. He hit Dev on his arm shocking him. Dev felt a bit wronged. He just stared in confusion. Aravind just went back to writing. Dev shook his head and played on his phone. Their day was over and they went to Dev's house. They put their bags away and Aravind pulled Dev by his collar.
" You... " He let out a huff in slight anger. He wasn't completely angry. It was just that, the fuzzy feeling in his body would make him restless and he couldn't control his body or mind anymore. And he did not want to look all flustered in public. Dev stared at Aravind who was trying to look angry. But he knew Aravind too well.
His anger was not exploding. It was more on the silent side. So he didn't know what else the reason was but he would definitely find that out. " Do I look easy ? " Aravind asked and Dev shook his head. " You look like my boyfriend. And... " His hands went under Aravind's shirt again holding his waist.
Aravind flinched and his grip on the collar loosened. " That is why I do it ". Dev said and Aravind was squirming a little, not able to keep his resolve. " Ugh ". He wanted to move away but Dev pulled him tighter against his body. Aravind looked up in shock. His heels raised a little. Dev pressed his lips against Aravind's.
Aravind also kissed back and his body slowly relaxed. The kiss got deeper and Aravind lost himself in it. When they pulled away, Aravind looked dazed. He met eyes with Dev. He pouted a little. " You seriously love messing with me ". Dev gave a charming smile. " Do I ? " Aravind hit on his chest making Dev laugh. Dev hugged Aravind.
" Be prepared for tonight. I am not letting this chance go in vain ". Aravind's eyes went wide, knowing very well what Dev was saying. Dev let go of Aravind and smiled like he didn't just say that. " Bye ". Aravind said picking up his bag and slipped away. " I mean what I said ". Dev said to Aravind who was escaping.
