Third person point of view
The next morning, Aravind woke up at his usual time and his morning routine was the same as always. But there was a bit of sweetness and he had to try hard to not keep smiling like an idiot. Dev was also excited from the moment he woke up. He parked the bike outside, waiting for Aravind. Aravind walked out and saw Dev waiting for him.
He was looking around happily whistling. Aravind chuckled and walked up to him. Dev gave the helmet. Aravind was about to take but Dev moved it away. Aravind raised an eyebrow. He wanted to take it but Dev moved it away again. Aravind folded his hands not wanting to take it. Dev chuckled and directly put it on Aravind's head.
Aravind hit Dev on his arm. He adjusted the strap and got on the bike. He imperceptibly moved a bit closer after sitting. Dev smiled and drove to the college. " What do we do if people keep recognizing you ? " Dev asked as they neared the campus. " I am going to take your bike and go back home ". Aravind said with a straight face. Dev laughed at his words.
" I don't think it would be that bad, but let's see ". Dev drove in and parked the bike. They walked to go to their class. Some of them did recognize them. If they noticed them, they talked among themselves. There were a few students, who were acquaintances, told them they rocked. They thanked them and reached the class rather safely.
Or so they thought. Their gang was waiting for them to give them an explanation. Aravind didn't care much if they just talked among themselves. As long as they didn't bother him, he didn't care about other things. So he was not bothered. But he still had to give answers to his friends. " Explain ". Arjun said and they all were looking at them with full focus.
Dev leaned forward. " The thing is, Akshay was the one who asked to do it. He knew it was all going well, but he wanted to have something more surprising and memorable. So in the last minute, he told Aravind to learn the lyrics and made him go on stage for the last song. We didn't have much time to explain it to anyone. And just like he wanted, it blew up ".
They all listened to Dev's explanation and nodded slowly. Even Aravind, who knew how much of a made up story that was, wanted to believe it. He silently gave Dev a standing ovation in his heart. " But you really sang so well ". Abhay praised and Aravind smiled. They all recalled the way they enjoyed the fest.
Their classes were back to normal and they also resumed the projects. Dev and Aravind were sitting in Dev's room on the bed while looking through the laptop. Aravind was sitting normally while Dev was leaning on to him on the side; half hugging and half cuddling. Aravind was done with him and let out a sigh.
" Please sit properly. My arm feels like it will go numb ". Dev reluctantly sat up. Aravind rotated his shoulder. They continued to work for a while and got it done. Aravind got up to go back home. He picked up his things. " Make sure to check for mistakes once again and print them ". Dev nodded obediently.
Aravind saw his innocent expression along with a hint of dissatisfaction and itched to make trouble. He walked up to Dev and kissed him on the lips. He moved away and saw Dev's dumbfounded expression. He laughed and took a step back but Dev was quick to recover and pulled him back. Aravind let out a gasp.
His lips were captured with no chance of escaping. Dev's hold on him was tight. His back arched a little as he gave in to the kiss. Dev felt the obedience and his kiss grew fiercer. He kissed him till Aravind shoved him back to breathe. Aravind's face turned red from the lack of oxygen. He really brought trouble on himself.
But not like he did not like it. He looked up and pursed his lips. There was a light tingling sensation because of Dev's bites on his lips. He slowly moved back and Dev also let him go. " See you tomorrow ". " Yeah ". Aravind finally walked out of there. Dev smiled as he watched Aravind walk away.
Aravind will have to put up with the relentless teasing from then on. In class, Dev would do something or other and Aravind couldn't react wildly or make bold movements. He would only get caught then. So he got used to letting Dev do whatever he wanted as long as he was sure that no one would notice anything.
They were the only ones who sat in the last bench and there were no students on either side. So they were safe to an extent. Unless someone particularly focused on them, they won't find anything out of place. It was mostly his heart that was restless and he couldn't stop his blush from time to time.
The next day, they met Bhargav and discussed about the project. He once again praised them and left. Dev packed up their things and put them in his bag. " Are you not worried he would snatch me away from you ? " Aravind asked with a smile. Dev zipped up his bag and rolled his eyes with a smirk.
" FYI, I have you wrapped around my finger. And having you this whipped for me, I don't think he could catch up. Plus he is not even on my level ". Aravind chuckled at the smug face. " Not wrong ". Dev smiled and their class was done. They got up and left.
