-3 days later-
"Heimdall! My team is ready to return to Midgard!" I say, walking into the Bifrost and waving at Heimdall, who is already standing ready to open the Bridge.
"I can see that. Stay safe Verdandi, Axl, Avaria, Voltair. You have bright futures ahead of you." He replies with the tiniest semblance of a smile on his face.
"We will, Father, see you soon," Axl says, stepping into the bridge created by the Bifrost. I do the same, followed by everyone else, and we are instantly traveling through space again.
-
The telltale signs of the Bifrost begin to appear over a city in Central America, the sky fills with clouds, and the wind starts to pick up. The Eternals, currently relaxing in the town they're guarding, notice the clouds and immediately know what it is. They all make their way to the site where the bridge is bound to land.
At the site, the bridge eventually lands, slamming into the ground and allowing us to walk out of the light. At the sight, we are greeted by Makari, who has already arrived with Icarus.
"Makari! Good to see you!" I say, waving at her as she dashes up to me and gives me a high five. She then proceeds to make a few hand signs at me, which I fail to understand.
"She's asking if you're okay, after what happened before." Icarus explains, to which Makari nods.
"Oh, yeah, I'm okay. Actually, I'm better than okay; I have a new ability! It's still in the early stages, and I have a feeling it's still growing, but it's pretty cool." I respond, to which Makari (Icarus) asks me what my ability is, "I now have the ability to see exactly one second into the future! Crazy right?"
Makari's eyes light up, and she starts rapid-firing questions at me, which Icarus does not bother translating, much to both Makari's and my chagrin. Its right then that the rest of the Eternals arrive, all of which greet us, (me in particular) and invite us back to the City.

"So what's the deal with the Deviants? You guys have any incidents while we've been gone?" Axl asks, to which Sersei responds.
"Yes, actually, we had an attack on the city, but there were only 4 or 5, and they didn't move like they did before. We thought that maybe last time was an isolated incident, but Ajak doesn't think so. She believes that the intelligent deviant sent the uncoordinated ones as a way to drop our guard." Sersei says, seated rather laxly at a table in the Eternal's large house.
"Interesting strategy. That would make sense, but it's too bad it doesn't work against people with real intelligence. Welp, good thing we're here again, so we can help eliminate the Deviants for good. Now, let's go hunting!" I yell, getting my teammates all riled up and ready to fight, and the Eternals all laugh at my enthusiasm.
"Agreed, Verdandi, let's go hunting. As usual, we'll leave behind Phastos and Druig, and the rest of us will go hunt these Fuckers. Let's go!" Said Kingo, following along with my Excitement, to which everyone eventually agrees and we set out.
-
"Are we coming up on the cluster of them, Ajak?" I ask, and she turns to me and nods. I then nod to my Comrades, and we all ready ourselves. Ahead is a clearing in front of a large cave. The cave entrance has scratches all over the sides, and deviant tracks are going in and out, not to mention there is a deviation shaped like a dragon lying out front, as if guarding the cave.
"We need to draw them from the cave. Sprite, conjure an illusion of a Human to draw the guard away, then we'll ambush it. After we kill it quickly, then we set traps at the entrance and bait the rest out. How's the plan?" I say, trying to make a plan to kill the 26 deviants in the cave.
"I think it's good, but what happens if the Deviant makes noise when we try and draw it away?" Icarus notes, and I can't help but agree with him. If that were to happen, we would quickly be overrun.
"Then we just make sure the deviant doesn't make noise. Avaria, help me make a silencing field, just like we learned in Magic class." Axl adds, and she nods to him. Soon after they finish the silencing field, we set our plan into motion. Sprite makes the human child, and sends it into the clearing. The deviant quickly notices the illusion, and it gets ready to pounce. The second it does, and realizes the child isn't real, it tries to alert the rest of the Deviants, but they can't hear it. Soon after we pounce on it, and it takes less than 10 seconds to kill with all our combined might.
However, we didn't account for the smell...
"AGHHHHH!!" Yells out Voltair as a deviant pounces on him, clenching it's large maw into his body.
"Voltair!" I yell out, moving to attack the deviant, and I successfully force it off him with a strike of my sword. I don't do much damage, but I do cut off a small piece of it's paw.
Voltair is badly wounded, his body bleeding badly, and if Ajak doesn't help him he may die in a matter of minutes. Unfortunately, the rest of the Deviants quickly notice the smell of blood and the yelling from outside, and soon there's 4 for deviants coming out of the cave one by one.
"Shit, we didn't account for the smell! Battle formations! Ajak, get to Voltair!" Icarus yells out, and she nods, trying to get to him quickly, but one of the Deviants intercept. She tries to jump over it, with much success, and Ivarus hits it with Lazer eyes to make sure it doesn't attack her.
What ensues is pure chaos. Our teams are together, and each In the correct formation, but without our tank our formation has trouble killing the deviant in front of us. With the other 4 deviants being handled by the eternals, with a little difficulty, we barely manage to kill the one in front of us.
"One down!" I call out the second I chop it's head off.
"That's two!" Calls out Icarus.
"Three!" "Four!""Five!" The rest call out once those ones are killed. We don't have any injuries, but as one would expect, the rest of the Deviants in the cave heard the fighting, and they begin to trickle out. Icarus tries to keep them all in the cave with his heat vision, but he can only do so much as one sneaks through, and then another, but by the time the third one escapes we've killed the first, and the same with the second and third, but by the time the fourth escapes, suddenly, a horde of deviants is forced through the opening of the cave.
The Alpha, has arrived.
It steps out, roaring like a monstrous beast, it's face red and spiked, it's large forelimbs powerful and dangerous. It looks like a gorilla, but one with a long tail and the face of a cougar, if that cougar had space cancer.
"Holy shit! Everyone retreat!" Icarus yells out as he's suddenly swarmed by 3 bird like Deviants at once and he is thrown from the sky, Lazers going all around.
"Icarus!" I hear Sersei yell out as she tries to fight off a deviant shaped like a panther.
Everything is a mess, and I have half a mind to call for Heimdall, and to tell him to get Thor, but my pride gets in the way, telling myself that I can do this.
And to cement my horrible decision, I manage to kill yet another deviant with a sweep of my sword.
"We've got this! Everyone group up!" I yell out, only to realize everyone in my group has been separated from me. At this point, there's a single deviant per person, and that's more than we can handle, not including the Alpha. Luckily, 3 of the fliers are facing Icarus, so we don't have to worry about those, but if her dies we're screwed. Plus, Voltair still isn't fully healed because a deviant threw Ajak off of him and started attacking her.
"Shit!" I yell out, my mind going back to Heimdall, but there's no time to wait for Heimdall! I dash towards Avaria, stabbing a deviant attacking her in the side of the head.
It's only now that I remember my new power, like the dumbass that I am.
"Fucking hell!" I yell out, activating my future sight, and suddenly I can see everything happening before it happens. However, for some reason, I can't see the future of the Eternals, and it takes only a second to realize it's probably because they are powered by cosmic energy.
It's just then, that I watch Avaria get chopped in half, and it's like watching slow motion. I can't see what causes it.
A second later, a stray Lazer chops her in half at the waist.
My mind goes blank.
"Ava..."
"AVA! NOOOOO!!!" I hear the Gutteral scream of Axl from the side, and I see tears instantly well into his eyes as he screams her name, but he can't get to her because of the deviant in front of him.
"Axl watch out!" I say, seeing the deviant in front of him swing it's claw at him, cutting his face a second before it happens. Luckily, my yell changes the future, and he blocks the strike.
I tear my eyes away from Ava, her lifeless body laying in two pieces, and I stare in hatred at a deviant in front of me.
"AGGGHHHHHHH!" I Scream out, dashing at the beast, a strange energy enveloping my body as I move faster than I normally would, my eyes shining with polychromal light.
Pure hatred fuels my heart, and I rip my sword throw the neck of the deviant in front of me.
"6 more!" I hear Golgamesh yell out as I kill the deviant, and my hatred comes to a boil, and my eyes lock on the Alpha.
I know I can't kill it.
I know it's too strong.
But I don't care.
