Lady Persephone picked her summoning bell between her fingers and rang it up. Less than a second followed before a new knock came from the door.
"Come inside," declared the Lady.
The silhouette of Katherine appeared through the crack she'd made upon opening it, "You've summoned me, my Lady," she bowed.
"I'd like you to escort Arabella back to her room but stay with her for the rest of the night. Someone else will be sent at the end of your shift to take over,"
"Of course," Katherine bowed again then, with her arm and a warm smile, she invited Arabella to follow her.
As soon as the two women had left the room, Persephone opened the balcony doors and made her way outside.
Silas remained still for an instant but quickly walking in her tracks. Mother and son gazed into the night, breathing the fresh air it brought along.
Although watching the slow traveling of stars through the sky in silence by her side was never Silas' goal.
