I will admit, once we got the keys from the owner of the cabin for the next two weeks, I kinda crashed. I was tired as hell, so I prepared a quick dinner for everyone and then I slunk under the covers of my bed for the next two weeks, which was heavenly compared to the camping I've been doing.
So that now leads to my current situation, surrounded by my Pokemon all asleep.
Eevee laid on my chest curled up into a ball. Koraidon had her arms laying on my arm with her head tucked into my side, the rest of her body laid half on the floor, half on the bed. Lapras was laying on a nice cooling mat I had bought for her, but her head rested on the opposite side Koraidon was on in my other side. Haunter was half in my shadow, half out, my ever vigilant protector.
They're honestly really cute like this. I decided to go back to sleep now, we could all sleep in for once.

A couple hours later we were all awake and I was cooking breakfast with the last of our supplies, I'd have to resupply in town. I also needed to buy the stuff for the cookout tonight.
Koraidon wanted meat for sure, I also did. Lapras preferred fish and plants, so perhaps some swordfish, or the equivalent of it here, and maybe with some plants on the side. Haunter would eat anything and everything, but his favorite was poison, so I'd separately cook something with poison in it for Haunter.
Eevee was an omnivore like almost all Pokemon, however she did have her favoritess, Oran Berries and Potato's. So perhaps I could try making some baked potatoes with crushed Oran berries stuffed inside.
Yeah, that'll do. Though I gotta buy some more berries, Gyarados are most of them, he deserved the treats though!
Anyways, with that settled I gotta go buy everything, so for now it was time to finish and fully focus on breakfast.

Nine days had passed since then, we had been exploring the island, however today, our vacation was interrupted by someone wanting to battle, and I'm always willing to battle, and so are my Pokemon.
"I want to battle that red Pokemon of yours and that Haunter. I've seen them both." My opponent said and I sighed, oh well, looks like it's time to put in the work.
I took the moment we were walking to study his apperance. He had an apperance that didn't really stand out, besides his gleaming red eyes. His hair was blonde. He was a bit tall, but nothing not average for an adult. Though he looked like he could use some sleep.
Eventually though, we were in a more secluded area and he held out a dusk ball.
"This will be a two Pokemon battle. Normal rules." The man stated and I nodded.
"Ok, one last question, I'm Raven Inanis, what's your name?" I asked and the man stilled for a moment before tilting his head before responding.
"Rit Gina." He said and i sweat dropped, that was so fake, he had to think about it. Oh well, battle is battle, and my mon were rearing to go.
"Well then, Rit Gina, a pleasure." I said intentionally pausing on his name, which he seemed to notice and grimace.
"Come on out." He sighed as he tossed out his pokemon and I hummed as I saw a Zoroark. Ok, so it was weak to Fighting, Fairy and Bug types. Something Haunter doesn't have, and I wanted to have Koraidon for his no doubt stronger pokemon.
Oh well, we ball. Haunter can handle it.
"Haunter, it's time to prove your superiority over pranks." I called as Haunter cackled and rose from my shadow before floating forward onto the field.
"[Nasty Plot]." Rit ordered off the bat and I huffed.
"[Shadow Punch]." I countered and Haunter cackled before two shadowy fist slammed into Zoroark.
"Zoro!" They cried out as they skidded back, but managed to flip into the momentum and land on all fours to slide back and reduce the force.
"No foreplay? We're just gonna go at it raw?" I teased as Haunter cackled and fired off a [Dark Pulse].
"Why are you h- so weird. This is a battle, not intercourse." Rit insisted and I frowned, he had been going to say something with an h, probably human.
Oh, this makes much more sense. Pft.
"Because it's fun, but also it's distracting." I replied as a [Hex] hit Zoroark who managed to avoid the [Dark Pulse].
"What?" He asked before looking over and seeing Zoroark injured. "Use [Night Daz]-" "[SUCKER PUNCH]!" I countered them immediately as a shadowy fist slammed into Zoroark, it didn't do much damage, but it was damn satisfying.
"[Shadow Ball]." I added as Haunter cackled before firing off a couple [Shadow Balls] at Zoroark.
"[Dark Pulse] to counter and then use your illusions with [Night Slash]!" Rit ordered and I smiled, looks like we're getting serious now.
Time to play then.
"Kakaka." I cackled as Haunter cackled as well and sunk into the ground.
"It's time to play a game~" I sang out. "Into the ground we go, but where oh where shall we pop out of. Behind? In front? Below? Above? Inside?" I asked smiling as Rit only glanced around, and I could tell by the way his eyes were moving, he was following Haunter, the dirty little cheater.
"Haunter, let's get original. [Curse]." I called out as Haunter's ominous cackle could be heard as the field glowed purple. Suddenly Zoroark called out in pain as a glowing purple nail formed above him and slammed into him.
"Zor!" It cried out and I felt a bit bad, but this was a battle. Kindness was one thing, going easy was for gym leaders, not trainers against each other.
"[Hypnosis]." I called out as Haunter cackled as he rose from the ground, his hands doing a weird gesture before he was asleep. "[Hex]." I ordered and Haunter did so and Zoroark made one last cry before it was knocked unconscious.
"You are a very stress style battler. It is impressive. You make use of techniques and abilities of your pokemon correctly, but now the true challange. Let your other pokemon face this one." Rit said and I smiled.
So he wanted a power vs power type battle eh? Well I'm down for it.
"Very well, Haunter to my side, it's time for our dear ace to take the field." I said grinning as Haunter cackled and floated beside me as Rit returned his Zoroark whispering something to it before pulling out a different pokeball. A heavy ball. Something big and heavy.
"Come on out, Tyrantrum!" He called out as he tossed the heavy ball and the dinosaur pokemon who lived like a king 100 million years ago.
"TYRANTRUM!" It roared out to the heavens as if trying to proclaim its right as king. However it was just that, a king.
King, meet apex predator.
"KORAIDON!" Her roar had the entire area shaking as she slammed down onto the ground looking fierce as ever. Arceus I loved my pokemon.
"Koraidon, let's show this king what an apex preadator really is." I grinned fiercely, and for a moment I swore we were the same person. Our hearts beating in sync as one.
Bond phenomena?
Oh boy, it's getting really fun now~
"I believe you called it foreplay, then let us begin. [Earthquake]." Rit ordered and I laughed joyfully. After this, I'm taking this man under my wing. He's a blast.
"Jump into the air and glide in place." I ordered as Koraidon lept up into the air to avoid the earthquake.
"[Ancient Power]!" Rit called out as several glowing blue rocks formed around Tyrantrum and fired at Koraidon.
Oh so he does want some foreplay. How cute.
"You use it as well Koraidon." I ordered as she fired off her own [Anicent Power] and each one hitting the other rocks. Koraidon soon landed on the ground safely.
"[Flamethrower]." I ordered as Koraidon spat out a gulf of burning hot red flames.
"Take it and use [Brutal Swing]." Rit ordered as Tyrantrum took the hot red flames to the chest and rushed forward while winding its body up to swing at Koraidon.
"[Agility]" I called out calmly as Koraidon blurred away from the spot and appeared away from the attack range.
"[DRAGON TAIL]!" Rit yelled out and I noticed his eyes flash red momentarily and smiled. Yes, this was very much looking to be a fun time.
"Koraidon are we going to let them beat us in raw power? No! Let's do it! Use [Dragon Tail] as well!" I was getting excited. Raw power clashes are the best kind.
Watching her tail glow with raw dragon energy, it felt like I was also using the move myself and I grinned wider. My heart thumping rapidly in pure unadulterated, and for a moment I saw through Koraidon's eyes as her tail slammed into Tyrantrum's.
"DO IT!" I yelled out loud my arms spread wide and my legs tensed as I jumped up. Koraidon mimicked my posture exactly.
In the air she changed. She had taken on her battle form and together we would end this battle.
"ALL OUT! [COLLISION COURSE]!" I yelled as I started falling down to the ground, in that moment I noticed how high I had also jumped up, I was over 20ft into the air, but I didn't care.
"[GIGA IMPACT]!" Rit yelled out and in that moment I watched as Koraidon and Tyrantum slammed into each other with unyielding and unrelenting force.
However moments before I fell into the ground, I was caught by Koraidon in her arms.
"You have won." Rit said as the smoke cleared and it showed Tyrantrum in a hole unconcious. Koraidon wasn't even injured, but I could feel the slight mental drain from whatever happened.
"Good job." I smiled as I wrapped my arms around Koraidon in a hug as she roared proclaiming her victory. Others might see a scary beast in this moment, but all I saw was my family.
Fuck I'm so in love it's ridiculous, but I'm happy. Oh well. Family that cares is nice.
"You have beat me, a battle well fought Raven Inanis." Rit said after recalling Tyrantrum and approaching me.
"Thank you Lord Giratina." I smiled and watched as he tripped and fell face first.
