Riven, still rubbing Eli's ears shamelessly, asked, "So, how often do you ears pop out."
Eli blinked. "What?"
"Your ears," Riven said, gesturing vaguely. "They are every soft to touch, look at them twitching so cutely."
"They were not," Eli said quickly, looking embarrassed. His hands went up to press his long bunny ears down as if to hide them. "They do that on their own. I can't control it."
Riven chuckled, eyes gleaming with amusement. "Cute."
Eli swatted at his arm. "Don't tease. Ears are the most sensitive part for bunnies."
Riven leaned in slightly, expression suddenly conspiratorial. "I can relate. My ears are sensitive too."
Eli gave him a look. "Really?"
"Mm-hm," Riven said, nodding with exaggerated seriousness. "Wanna touch?"
Eli's face turned red in an instant, ears springing up high.
"D-Do you just let anyone touch your ears?" he asked, clearly flustered.
"No," Riven said smoothly, voice dropping just a little. "Only the ones I'm close to."
