"I… I want to see a healer," Riven said, his tone calm but laced with something unreadable. "The one I saw last time. Eli. Can you… Call for him?"
Ronan paused, mid-movement. His eyes narrowed slightly, concern washing over his face. "Are you feeling unwell?" He stepped closer. "Did something happen?"
"No, no." Riven shook his head quickly, too quickly. "I'm fine. Really." He even added a tiny smile. "It's nothing serious. Just… A private issue." He was hoping Ronan would stop if he said this.
Ronan didn't look entirely convinced. His brows furrowed as he crouched in front of Riven, searching his face. "Are you sure? You're not hurt?"
"I'm sure," Riven nodded again, more firmly this time. "Please don't worry. I just need to ask him something. That's all."
Ronan seemed a little bothered that Riven could not tell him, mostly because he thought they were closer now and more with each other.
