[Yes host]
"You know what, just turn off her status and let figure out a way out of here." Jake said, glancing around the walls as he rest his back at the walls. "Any ideas?"
[Yes! First, we need to get you out of this cell. Then, we'll make our way to the western part of Everia, where Lord Chan's castle is located. I'll guide you through the map and provide you with instructions on how to navigate the terrain.]
The system's voice sounded so confident like it was already happening, and Jake felt a glimmer of hope surging along his veins. Maybe he could trust this freaking system of his.
Jake turned around, looking at the cell walls again. Speaking of a chances of escape here was likely a slim hope for him here. That wouldn't be easy at all, from the look of things around here.
The walls around were so thick, and the cell door was just a definition of solid iron itself. The bars look pretty much outdated though, but they were hell strong like hammers. He shook his head as he navigate his mind around the cell room. A hint of doubt was now surging over his body, replacing the little hope that his system flattered at him.
His eyes fell on the bars again; it was padlock from the outside, making his chances of getting out, more slimmer. Whoever put him there must have been a wild sadist or something.
I mean, what the hell!
He spun around in frustration, fisting his knuckles on the bars again, he felt like a madman honestly. Damn! That was when he realized something….. something amazing!
Fuck! The steel iron that he just fisted, squeezed! How?
It was as if an iron bender, bend it with a sledgehammer. It was just so surprising. Even if it was because of his adopted body, it was still abnormal for his fist to produce such a momentum, at that level. What the hell just happened?
He popped out his eyes again, flicking his gaze towards it, closely. He observed that it didn't just squeezed but fuck! It also kind of break.
Well, he could have called it a mistake but his slumpy eyes betrayed him as it caught another one. Shit! The walls! The hard walls he fisted on earlier; had been cracking all this while. Jeez! He didn't even realize such thing happened.
As matter of fact, the walls were pretty much ancient as hell and they didn't look like they were built with stones at all. They actually look more like space rocks.
So, how could his subconscious swaying of fist crack rocks like this? That's crazy right?
"Buddy, can you see what I'm seeing?" Jake asked, grinning at himself as he sturk his gaze at the crack walls. But to his surprised. He didn't here any metallic robotic voice as he expected.
Which got him turning backward to glare at his so called system who was supposed to still be floating in the air like a ballon. But shit! She wasn't there.
"Fuck! Hey, where the hell are you?" Jake said, almost in a whisper as he turned around the cell walls, flicking his gaze up and down, searching for his freaking system.
"Alright, cool trick buddy, cool trick. But damn, this isn't a good time to turn invisible, where the hell are you?" he screamed this time, his voice echoing off the terrain. He swayed his hands in frustration.
He could swear, that he saw the system behind him, few moments ago while he was still gazing at the door, pondering on the crack walls. But turning around to see an empty space in place of his system was just so absurd.
How? Did she disappeared? She didn't tell me she can teleport too. Fuck!
He slammed his forehead with his palms in dismay, stroking his back behind the walls. The idiot just said, she would help him get out of here, now she has suddenly disappear like Mia did the other time. So awkward!
While still in his thoughts; he was suddenly woke up by some track sounds, sounding like some parade soldiers, matching. He first thought his hearings were playing games with him, till the track started sounding more closer and closer. But now sounding like one footed person.
Jeez! Is someone coming?
He quickly squirt himself into the dark spot of the room. He squized himself there so tightly, hoping to be invisible from whomever was approaching. The thought of a bodyguard swirl through his mind.
Normally, in movies, when sound track tick tock like this, it means a guard was coming; either to check on you if you were still alive or comes to kill you for whatever reason it may be that you've committed.
But another picture flashed through his mind–mia. Among many other things, he just hope the person coming should be Mia. At least, he would get a chance to sort things out with her, if she does give him a listening ears and then, probably find their way out. Or to be precise, his way out of here.
However, things didn't seems to turn out so well as a flammable illumination of fire disguise him, in his hiding spot. He was hell exposed as if a touch light was flashed at him.
A figure was outside the cell gate holding a flammable stick. Although, the figure didn't really look like one of those giant as he wasn't so big and obese in shape. But Jake could tell that the figure was a female. It was damn obvious.
She was quite like a normal person but her face couldn't just be seen; not really because the illumination prevented him from catching a glimpse of the figure, but because the person standing outside the cell seems to wrapped her whole body with some black hidjab attire; including her face–which almost made the figure look like a stunning Ninja.
Before Jake could utter a word, the figure suddenly dropped his flammable stick on the floor. At first, Jake expected the flame to go off due to the speed the guy used in dropping the flame but to his shock; it was still on. The figure pick out some bunch of key's from his red attire that she used in tying her waist and started unlocking the cell.
Could that be Mia? Hope she's the one.
The figure tried opening it with the first key, which seems not to be the right one, she switches to the next. Jake just had to assume it was Mia. Because the person unlocking the cell was literally trying to get him out. It was in a hurry kind-of-thing.
And if there was anyone who would think of saving his ass in this strange planet; it'll be no other person than Mia.
Jake assuming the figure to be Mia, called out, from his hidden spot that was literally exposed. The person was still trying to open the cell, switching the keys one by one, trying to get the right one.
"Hey! Mia, is that you?" Jake called almost in a whisper as he popped his eyes outward, waiting to hear that familiar menacing voice that he was getting used to. But damn! She didn't respond.
The figure actually paused for a while and stern her gaze to jake; who was still assuming it was Mia, trying to save his ass. She shook her head, obviously disappointed or something.
She dropped her glance from him and continue switching the keys, still trying to get the right one. Her expression was so vague to Jake. He couldn't just see her face because of the fucking hidjab that she was wore.
'Is she still pissed? I thought I apologized. I told her I was sorry, right? Why's she still mad at me?'
he pondered as tries to adjust himself in his hidden spot, feeling so uncomfortable with the snub that he got from the figure.
Hiding there now, was completely useless, because she could literally see every freaking fiber part of Jake body, in that spot.
Jake felt like going closer to the cell bars and scrutinize her face clearly, to know if it was Mia or not. But the fear of his head being shopped off still wailed heavily on him.
Suddenly the cell bars finally split into two, making that silly cringe noice that cymbals do make when hit with drum sticks.
For a moment, Jake felt the noise would arose or alarm the public masses around, if any at all. Although, he doubt if there was any, as such.
He flicked up his chin upward still trying hard to see if he could predict, accurately who was standing in front of the door.
The figure, picked up the flame from the floor, straining her gaze directly at the spot Jake squized himself in, like a squidward. The figure raised her arms, biding jake to come out of his exposed bird nest.
Helpless Jake stood up, shivering like a chicken that was about to get slaughtered for dinner. Maybe he was about to really get slaughtered, because the freaking anonymous person standing before him, suddenly pulled out a sparkling knife from her waist brand.
Paiaaammm!
Jeez!
"What now? Death?" Jake whispered as he walked closer.
