Chapter 72 - NO INFORMATION

Wilson's eyes blazed with anger and worry as he paced back and forth in front of Fiona. "Fiona, you need to find Ace and get that drive back now, before he can do any damage," he thundered.

Fiona nodded, knowing that her father was right. But as she turned to leave, Wilson's voice stopped her.

"Fiona, I want you to be careful. Ace is more powerful than you think. He has connections and resources that go far beyond anything we can imagine. If he wants to keep that drive, he'll stop at nothing to do so."

Fiona felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized the true extent of Ace's power. She had always known that he was wealthy and influential, but she had never realized just how far his reach extended.

"I'll be careful, Father," she promised, trying to sound braver than she felt.

Wilson's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing. "See that you are, Fiona. I don't want anything to happen to you."

Fiona trudged upstairs, her mind racing with thoughts of how to track down Ace in Los Angeles. She knew it wouldn't be an easy task, especially since they didn't have a specific location to start with.

As she entered her room, Fiona flopped down onto her bed, letting out a frustrated sigh. She needed a plan, and fast. She couldn't just show up in LA without a clue about where to find Ace.

Fiona's eyes scanned her room, searching for inspiration. Her gaze landed on her laptop, and she quickly sat up, a spark of determination igniting within her. She would start by digging up every piece of information she could find on Ace's connections in LA. Maybe there was a lead, a hint, or a rumor that could point her in the right direction.

With newfound resolve, Fiona opened her laptop and began to type, her fingers flying across the keyboard as she embarked on her mission to track down Ace.

Fiona's eyes scanned the search results on her laptop, her face falling as she realized that she had come up empty-handed. Despite her best efforts, she couldn't find any information on Ace's whereabouts in Los Angeles.

She sighed, frustration etched on her face. She had been so sure that she would be able to find some lead, some hint, or some rumor that would point her in the right direction.

Fiona closed her laptop, her mind racing with thoughts of what to do next. She couldn't just give up, not when her father's reputation and business were on the line.

She stood up, pacing back and forth in her room as she tried to think of a new plan. Maybe she could try contacting some of Ace's associates, or perhaps she could try to track down his movements in LA.

As she paced, Fiona's eyes landed on her phone, and she suddenly had an idea. She quickly grabbed her phone and dialed a number, hoping against hope that the person on the other end would be able to help her.

Fiona's face fell as she listened to the person on the other end of the line. "I'm sorry, Fiona, but I don't have any information on Ace's whereabouts in LA," the person said.

Fiona sighed, feeling a sense of disappointment and frustration. She had been counting on this person to provide her with some lead, some hint, or some rumor that would help her track down Ace.

"Are you sure?" Fiona asked, trying to keep the desperation out of her voice. "Ace is a pretty public figure. I would think that someone would know something."

The person on the other end of the line hesitated for a moment before responding. "Fiona, I'm telling you, I don't know anything. And even if I did, I'm not sure I would be able to tell you. Ace is a very private person, and he has a lot of powerful friends who would not take kindly to him being tracked down."

Fiona's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with thoughts of what to do next. She knew that she couldn't give up, not now. She had to keep pushing, keep searching, until she found what she was looking for.
