Nicole's pov~
We walked till we got to the door of a small building, a run down building.
"What? Why are we here?" I asked Mei.
"Kashar."
I blinked.
"Kashar is in here." She repeated.
I had heard her the first time. Gosh, she was too similar to Trish, too much.
I glanced at the building again, it looked like it could collapse at any minute. This was where they were holding him? Without guards too?
They were too lax. Kashar still had influence over the dragons, dragons that could kill them once their master commanded it. And they were trying to chase away the person that could protect them.
"Why here?"
Mei avoided my gaze. "You were too insistent on wanting to have him so they decided to keep him from public eye."
"Why bring me here then?" I raised an eyebrow.
"You wanted to see him." She replied, finally meeting my eyes.
