Chapter 25 - MHA : Chapter 25 : A Friend's Support I

"Excuse me! How is it like being taught by All Might?"

"Can you comment on All Might as a teacher?"

"Could you please tell us what All Might is like in a classroom setting?"

Question after question came flying at the young teen, why did getting to class have to be so difficult?

But at that moment, got an idea.

"Sorry, I'm business course!" He apologized, inwardly grinning at how the mass of reporters parted before him, finally allowing him a path to enter his school. As he walked, he noticed that Aizawa stood at the gate that led to the school while keeping reporters out.

"Quick thinking, I hope you can use that in class." The man greeted him, only giving him a sideways glance.

"Morning, scarf man." Peter nodded to return the greeting, chuckling at the annoyed grunt his teacher gave. He sure did love the back and forth they had, it was a great way to start the day.

It was now the 3rd day of Peter's high school career in UA, the soreness and pain from the battle trial yesterday already started to wear off. The only bandages that were visible to the outside viewer were those revealed by his rolled-up sleeves, he'd take them off later.

Now, there were bigger things he had in mind.

Things like his costume and how he was gonna tell Midoriya it was destroyed on the first day. Even though Midoriya had made a spare, stealth version that he could use since support students started school a week early, he hoped the green-haired boy wouldn't be too mad.

Should he leave out the fact that it was a fight with Bakugo that got it destroyed? That might be a good idea.

That's something that future Peter would have to deal with, he'd just get to class and swing by the support studio at lunch.

As he walked through the pristine halls, he eventually reached the door to class 1-A. Opening it, he was met with the regular chaos that he'd seen the past 2 days with one exception.

Bakugo just quietly sat at his desk, head in his hands and looking down. The boy didn't even bother to give Peter a passing glance, only continuing to quietly sulk. Peter could only sigh.

That was yet another problem for future Peter, he sure didn't want to be him right now!

"Good morning, Peter! Hey, hey, are your injuries alright? You still got some bandages! Did you see the bunch of reporters? It was crazy!" The voice of Nejire greeted him as he sat down in his usual seat, he'd try to not tune her out today.

Keyword 'Try'

"Hey, guys. Yeah, I just haven't taken these ones off yet and I did see the reporters, had to say I was a business course student." That drew out a chuckle from Moe and Mirio.

"Damn, I had to kick a dude in the shins but whatever floats your boat." Rumi recounted nonchalantly, waving her gloved hand casually. Peter would have to talk to her about that.

Before anyone could continue the conversation, the oversized door to the room slid open, an annoyed-looking Aizawa stepping through and tsking his place at the podium while muttering something about 'Fucking vultures.'

"Good morning, I've had the chance to review both All Might's notes and the footage from the battle trials yesterday. You all did fine, I only have a couple of things to say." The man lazily greeted, his gaze quickly falling on Peter.

Why did it always have to be him?

"Parker, not bad but not good either. You didn't take the exercise seriously enough and inadvertently let the villain cause serious amounts of property damage and sustained injuries because you decided to joke around, refrain from doing that. But from a combat stance point, you have skill but overly rely on your quirk, work on that."

Peter nodded quickly, biting the quip that was the tip of his tongue. "Yes, sca- Aizawa-Sensei." The glare the man gave him before Peter corrected himself sent a shiver down his spine.

He knew he was gonna mess up and calling him 'Scarf man' in class one day, they both knew. It was just a matter of when.

"Bakugo." The red-eyed boy lifted his gaze and looked at the hero. "Stop acting like a spoiled child. You have undeniable talent and a powerful quirk, so stop sulking after one defeat in a training exercise on the second day of school. Learn from this, and become better." He lectured firmly, only earning a nod and a grunt.

Sighing, the man looked the class over once again, his tired eyes landing on every single student and studying thoroughly.

Quickly, the man pulled out a yellow sleeping bag from… somewhere. "Today you'll be picking a class president and vice president. I do not care how you do it, just have them picked it by the end of class without interrupting my nap." With that statement, the man entered the bag, zipped it up, and just went to sleep while laying down on the floor.

Peter wished he could take a nap. Maybe he should get a better sleep schedule soon?

Maybe then he wouldn't have to deal with the classroom loudly erupted in excitement, nearly every student justifying as to why they should be picked. This went on for 23 seconds, Peter counted, until Iida shot up and brought order.

"We shall decide this diplomatically! By having a democratic vote to choose who will be our class representatives!" He yelled, his hand chopping the air.

Was he the only one who found that weird? No one said anything about it so he guessed that was the case.

"Won't everyone vote for themselves?" The guy named Kaminari asked.

"We've only known each other for s couple of days, kero. How are we supposed to trust someone enough to vote for them?" The frog-like girl named Asui added, letting out a frog-like croak mid-sentence.

Now, Peter himself held a bit of a one-sided rivalry with the girl. She could crawl on walls! That was his thing! And then Sero could swing like him? They were all stealing his thunder! If they start detecting dangers or purring, he'll sue.

Also, he absolutely did not purr. He 100% didn't randomly start purring when he felt comfortable, and he will deny such a claim until the end of his days.

"Exactly! That means that those who have multiple votes shall be the most qualified to lead the class! So let's get started!"

One incredibly boring voting process and an election later…

Iida himself counted the votes and wore them on the board, being careful as to not disturb Aizawa, his eyes widened at the list of names.

Peter looked over to the other side of the room to see Yaoyorozu giving some speech about doing her best for the class while having a light blush at so many people voting for her. He had to admit she would probably make a good President, she gave off a bunch of 'high-class proper lady' vibes.

Iida himself with freaking out while Uraraka tried to calm him down. "B-But who voted for me? Whoever it was! I will not let you down!"

While Peter didn't want to admit he was one of those people, Rumi had other plans. "Oi! Glasses! It was me and Peter over here who voted for you." She informed him, he hoped she'd leave it at that.

"But why? We barely know each other."

She was gonna tell him, wasn't she?

"You just seem to have a huge stick up your ass at all times, you know? Give a ton of uptight vibes." Iida deflated, instantly being consoled by the brunette girl.

Peter had to save this situation, even though he thought Rumi was right.

"Uh, Iida! What she means is that you seem like a professional and responsible guy! Yeah… That's what she meant!" He said with an awkward chuckle, inwardly sighing when the boy immediately lit up again.

He couldn't have been happier when the bell finally rang.
