Trisha's family living room was so spacious that it wasn't hard not to notice the two men who sat opposite each other.
Carlos was ever so serious, almost as if he was attending to a business partner. His poker face gave away so much coldness that even Trisha's father had to shiver while staring into his dark unfathomable eyes.
"So Mr Bill, I did not ever imagine that The Devil Who Dominated The Business World would actually have his eyes on Annabel Liam. I mean, she's just an uncommon species. Pardon me for putting it that way."
Carlos' brows raised.
"Uncommon species?" He asked and Trisha's father laughed.
"Well she's a jade beauty, she's from a small town. Her family isn't even as impressive and prestigious as you are, and yes, it is very difficult to win their trust. One time, my daughter told me how hard it was to convince her parents to actually let Annabel visit the City."
Carlos' interest was immediately piqued.
