Sitting sideways on my good leg, I had spread Snapshot-Henry's legs apart and was in the midst of pulling his pants down when I got dizzy.
As if the power of his blood, which I had devoured, was only now digested, I fell back with yet another seizure, but this time I was sobered up quite a bit.
When the shaking and trembling lessened, I sat up and moved my head left and right, closing my eyes and listening to the sounds my body made, feeling the surging power Henry's blood brought with it.
I emptied my mind, letting go of the voices that led to strange places and barring every route inside my mind that would bring me to only more horrific thoughts.
I put Snapshot-Henry away without looking at him before glancing at the coin.
'I was in the war~'
'You were in the war~'
No matter which direction I moved, the hands of the Hangman followed up, always pointing in the same direction, still upwards.
I looked at the flesh ceiling above me.
Now it was time to get to work.
