"Damn it, it's Solus!"
With the death of that Spider-Man, the other Spider-People erupted in rage, one after another breaking free from the oppressive aura of Solus.
They immediately launched an all-out attack on him!
However, despite being stronger than the average Spider-Person, they were still only "street-level" heroes. Against Solus, they had no chance in direct combat!
One Spider-Man swung his fist at Solus.
Solus responded in kind, raising his own fist and countering with a backhand punch.
Boom!
Crack!
With a loud impact followed by a crisp snapping sound, the Spider-Man's arm was instantly broken. His body was sent flying dozens of meters away.
At the same time, Solus reached out with his other hand, grabbing the head of another Spider-Man who was attacking from the left. Using him like a club, he swung forcefully, knocking away several more Spider-People coming from that direction.
Hiss—
Another Spider-Man was drained into a withered husk!
"You idiots, get out of here! Didn't we already say not to fight him head-on?!"
A voice shouted from the distance.
It was Parker-Chan, who had realized something was terribly wrong.
Right after yelling, that Spider-Man immediately opened a portal and escaped.
This was Solus—
The most terrifying existence among the Inheritors!
Peter had already warned them about Solus's overwhelming power, telling them that if they ever encountered him, their top priority should be escaping. They must never engage him in battle, especially not in close combat.
Yet this group just wouldn't learn their lesson.
Only now did the remaining Spider-People snap back to reality. Hastily, they activated the devices on their wrists and fled from Earth-928's universe.
The devices were imbued with magic by Peter, allowing them to conceal themselves from higher-level detection.
As long as they escaped Earth-928 and vanished from Solus's sight, in most cases, he wouldn't be able to track them down right away.
Bzzz—
Peter was fast asleep when the quantum web beneath him began to tremble.
His eyes snapped open.
"Something's wrong! Who showed up?!"
Immediately, he extended his psychic senses outward.
The moment he saw Solus, he recognized him!
He had seen Solus before through the Great Web, witnessing his battle against Captain Universe Spider-Man in Earth-13.
But seeing Solus in action firsthand—slaughtering his way through the battlefield—still made Peter frown.
In just the short time he had been watching, four Spider-People had already died at Solus's hands.
Each one was instantly killed!
A single touch meant certain death!
There was nothing they could do.
As the first Leech Totem, Solus's prey wasn't limited to just Spider-People.
Before he focused on hunting Spider-Totems, he had already slaughtered countless other Totems.
It was only because of a prophecy foretelling the extinction of the Inheritors at the hands of the Spider-Totems that he made them his primary targets. But in reality, he had encountered countless other types of power and fought many different enemies.
However, there was a distinct difference between Solus and his children.
The second-generation Inheritors, after absorbing Totem energy, would always be somewhat influenced by the Totems they consumed.
For example, Karn absorbed so much energy that he eventually became the Master Weaver.
Later, Morlun also absorbed too many Spider-Totems and was ultimately classified as a Spider-Totem himself.
But Solus was different—he could fully digest the life energy of other Totems, using it purely to enhance his own strength.
That was why he had reached such an unfathomable level of power.
Swish!
With a single stride, Solus reappeared in front of a Spider-Man.
This Spider-Man was a cartoonish young boy named Spider-Ninja, hailing from the universe of Earth-2301. He was the last surviving member of the "Spider-Ninja Clan" of that world.
However, in the face of Solus, the ninja techniques he once prided himself on were utterly powerless.
The shuriken and caltrops he hurled at Solus turned into nothing more than soft children's toys upon impact.
Fear and despair surged through him, eventually transforming into a defiant roar.
Solus was too close. He didn't even have time to activate his teleportation device!
He had no choice but to go all out and buy time for his companions to escape.
Crack, crack, crack—
Just then, Solus's relentless advance suddenly halted.
A glowing portal appeared in front of Spider-Ninja, and with a swift movement, he dove into it.
When he reappeared, he was already dozens of meters away.
"Everyone, leave this world as planned!" Peter emerged from a portal, forming hand seals as he cast a spell while shouting instructions.
Four mirrors sealed off Solus's front, back, left, and right, trapping him within.
This was a real-world application of the Mirror Dimension.
Solus's body froze for a moment before he turned his head to look at Peter, a sinister smile spreading across his face.
"So, you finally show yourself! This trick of yours is quite impressive—no wonder Daemos and the others fell at your hands!"
As he spoke, his shoulder twitched slightly.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
A series of glass-shattering sounds rang out.
The mirrored walls surrounding him exploded instantly!
Peter's expression shifted slightly.
In just that split second, he sensed that nearly a quarter of the Mirror Dimension had been destroyed!
To put it in perspective, with just a shrug, Solus could obliterate a quarter of an entire planet!
How terrifying!
Peter dared not be careless and unleashed all his knowledge.
[Ikon Illusion]!
One by one, clones emerged from his body, scattering in all directions.
"Roar!" Solus let out a furious bellow and instantly struck down two clones.
Fortunately, there were plenty more.
The clones raised their hands in unison, summoning the [Rings of Raggadorr] as they began their incantations.
Among them, four or five clones conjured [Energy Whips], lashing them around Solus's limbs.
However, the technique that had been able to restrain Daemos was completely ineffective against Solus.
With a single tug, Solus yanked several clones toward him and crushed them on the spot.
Swish!
A few more clones cast their spells again—this time, their hands glowed an intense crimson.
[Crimson Bands of Cyttorak]!
Cyttorak, the ruler of the Crimson Cosmos and the source of Juggernaut's power, was said to be second only to the four abstract entities of the Multiverse—Eternity, Infinity, Death, and Oblivion.
The spell Peter had learned from his grimoire was based on Cyttorak's power.
At full strength, it could genuinely harness the power of the Crimson Cosmos, capable of binding even multiversal-level beings.
But to achieve that, Peter would have to personally negotiate a "loan" from Cyttorak himself.
For now, he was using an inferior version.
Against Solus, a multiversal-level entity, its strength was insufficient—but Solus was on the lowest tier of multiversal beings. In a one-on-one fight, he had even been overpowered by Captain Universe Spider-Man, proving that his strength was not particularly outstanding among his peers.
Otherwise, how could he have been "suppressed beyond his level"?
And now, this fact was being demonstrated once again.
As soon as the [Crimson Bands of Cyttorak] appeared, Solus's movements were truly stopped!
