Liam had planned to catch his breath and launch another attack, but Thalion had other plans. In the blink of an eye, Thalion disappeared from Liam's line of sight, only to reappear directly in front of him. Liam reacted instinctively, his fist lashing out in a swift, powerful strike, but Thalion was faster. He grabbed Liam by the neck, lifting him effortlessly off the ground.
Thalion's grip was firm but not crushing, his voice stern as he spoke. "Do you think your opponent will sit idly by and wait for you to catch your breath? They'll take the opportunity to attack. Always be ready."
With a casual flick of his wrist, Thalion tossed Liam across the room. Liam crashed into one of the padded walls, the impact knocking the wind out of him. Thalion's voice echoed through the room, clear and commanding. "One minute has passed. You have a fifteen-second break. After that, you'll use a weapon instead of fighting barehanded."
