Angelica noticed and batted her lashes, speaking in a sweet tone, "Selina shouldn't have acted like that... Logan, let me apologize on her behalf."
"She's always been like this since she was little—super popular with boys. Not just Mr. Carter, almost every guy likes her. It's not that she does it on purpose... she just doesn't understand where to draw the line, so it's easy for her to send the wrong signals."
Angelica sighed dramatically. "You two are husband and wife, and she still left with Mr. Carter in front of everyone. It's our fault for not teaching her better. Logan, please don't be mad at her."
