"Come to think of it, I've never actually climbed up to that volcano. I always stopped here at the foot of the lava flow," Grey muttered, glancing around the scorched terrain. He flexed his fingers slowly, opening and closing his fists as the heat prickled his skin.
"It's taking every ounce of my willpower just to stand here... and I haven't even stepped into the volcano's base yet." A small, determined smile curled his lips. "If lightning magic isn't progressing today, then I'll train my fire magic and body instead. I need to grow stronger. I'm going to cross that volcano—no matter what—and see what lies beyond it!"
With that declaration, Grey stepped forward, determined. The volcano loomed just meters ahead, but the journey to reach it was far from simple.
