As the night ended, social media was on fire. Multiple fans have taken upon themselves to talk about their thoughts.
@youngboss06:
"Holy shit, so we just get a steal cage match just like that? Nah, Nct really firing on all cylinders.
@nameyalus:
" Safe to say that Nct is the second best show on WWL network currently. I feel bad for WAR, imagine being the OG show but you're getting out done by Slamdown and Nct."
@you18q8mystery
"I've been a fan of Adonis since he debuted his "Upgrade of professional wrestling" persona, so I've been here along the rude longer than most. But what I don't get is why is he always being betrayed like this? But, on the other hand, I do hope he deals with him the same way he drop with Oliver back in WSA🙌🏽."
@Drak_wolff:
" The match aside, are we really gonna ignore that Adonis is low-key starting his own wrestling harem? Bro rizzed up Roxannah, Korra and Akira. Now, both him and all his huns are chanpions😅😅"
Adonis who was in his apartment was busy scrolling over the post. He let's out a light sigh. A light knock is heard from his door, he goes to open the door and finds Akira Jackson waiting for him with a box of pizza. "Are you just gonna stand their or let me come in?" She asked with a cute smile. Adonis stepped aside, motioning for Akira to enter. As she walked in, the aroma of the pizza filled the small apartment, momentarily distracting him from his earlier thoughts. He closed the door behind her, feeling a flutter of excitement in his chest.
"Thanks for bringing dinner," he said, trying to play it cool as he led her to the small dining table cluttered with books and his laptop. "You always know how to brighten my day."
Akira set the pizza box down and grinned, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "It's not just pizza; it's a peace offering. I thought you might be feeling down after your fught with Isaac, so I thought a movie night might help."
Adonis chuckled, grateful for her thoughtfulness. They had been friends for a while, but lately, he couldn't help but notice how much he enjoyed her company. As she opened the box, steam wafted up, and the cheesy goodness made his stomach rumble.
"Let's dig in!" she exclaimed, pulling out a slice and offering it to him. He took a bite, savoring the flavors, but more so the moment. As they ate, they chatted about everything and nothing—work, their favorite shows, and silly childhood memories. Each shared laugh felt like a thread weaving them closer together.
After the pizza was devoured, Akira leaned back in her chair, her expression softening. "You know, I've always admired how passionate you are about your work, you tain harder than most and that shows commitment... oh yeah, you said you like to paint in your free time, can i see some of the work you did."
Adonis felt a blush creep up his cheeks. "I'd love to. It's just… sometimes I think it's not good enough."
"Don't be ridiculous," she replied, her tone playful yet sincere. "Your art is amazing. You just need to believe in yourself a little more."
There was a moment of silence as their eyes locked. Adonis felt a spark he had been ignoring for too long. He took a deep breath, deciding to take a chance. "What if I told you that I think about you more than just a friend?"
Akira's smile faltered, and she looked down at her hands. "I've been feeling the same way, Adonis. But I didn't know if you'd want that. You got too much doing on right now snd the last thing i need is to be used as a distraction. I know my worth"
He reached across the table, gently taking her hand in his. "I wasn't trying to use you like as a distraction, I'm sorry. But I'm just doing the last thing Isaac told me to do as a friend. He said I should follow my heart, and well. My heart says I should do this." Adonis leans in and kisses Akira gently.
Her eyes lit up, and a shy smile returned to her face. "So, what now?" Adonis squeezed her hand, feeling warmth spread through him. "How about we start with more pizza nights? And see where it goes from there?"
"Deal," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. As they sat there, hands intertwined, the atmosphere shifted. The air felt electric, filled with unspoken promises and the thrill of new beginnings. They decided to watch a movie, but neither could focus on the screen. Every now and then, their eyes would meet, and laughter would bubble up between them, full of possibility. The night stretched on, filled with warmth, connection, and the sweet anticipation of what was to come.
The next morning, sunlight streamed through Adonis's window, casting a warm glow across his room. He woke up with a smile, replaying the events of the previous night in his mind. As he got ready for the day, he felt a flutter of excitement at the thought of spending more time with Akira. As he arrived at the gym, he spotted Akira already there, warming up on a treadmill. She looked focused yet effortlessly radiant, her hair pulled back in a ponytail and a fitted workout outfit that accentuated her playful energy.
"Hey there, champ!" she called out, hopping off the treadmill with a grin. "Ready to get your sweat on?"
"Absolutely," he replied, matching her enthusiasm. They moved through their workout routine, encouraging each other as they tackled different exercises. Adonis found himself stealing glances at her, admiring how she pushed herself and how her laughter echoed through the gym when they joked around.
After an intense workout, they collapsed onto a bench, both panting but exhilarated. "I think I'm officially dead," Adonis joked, wiping the sweat from his brow. "Just dead enough for some ice cream," Akira countered with a laugh, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "I know the perfect place. Korra showed it to me the other day."
They headed to a nearby park, the sun shining brightly above them. Akira led the way, her energy infectious. The park was filled with families and friends enjoying the warm day, and the air was sweet with the scent of blooming flowers.
As they approached the ice cream stand, Akira's eyes lit up. "I can't decide between mint chocolate chip or strawberry," she mused. "What about you?"
"Definitely cookies and cream," Adonis replied, feeling a sense of ease in her presence. They ordered their cones and settled on a bench under a large oak tree, the shade providing a welcome relief from the sun. Taking a bite of his ice cream, Adonis watched as Akira savored her mint chocolate chip, her eyes closing in delight. "This is heavenly," she said, her smile wide. "You've got to try it!"
She leaned closer, holding out her cone for him to taste. Adonis took a bite, the coolness melting on his tongue. "Okay, that's really good," he admitted, grinning at her. "I told you!" she exclaimed, her laughter ringing out like music. The moment felt light and carefree, and Adonis couldn't help but feel a growing connection between them.
As they continued to share their ice cream, Adonis felt a wave of warmth wash over him. It was more than just their budding romantic feelings; it was the friendship they had cultivated, the laughter they shared, and the undeniable chemistry that seemed to pulse between them. "Hey, I've been thinking," Akira said suddenly, her expression turning a bit serious. "What if we did something fun together every week? Like a tradition?"
Adonis's heart skipped a beat at the thought. "I'd love that. We could make it a pizza and ice cream night or something else fun."
"Perfect!" she replied, her face lighting up again. "I'm so glad we're on the same page about this."
As the afternoon sun began to dip lower in the sky, casting a golden hue over the park, Adonis felt a sense of contentment. They sat together, sharing stories, laughter, and ice cream, each moment drawing them closer together. He realized that this was just the beginning of something beautiful, a blossoming relationship that held the promise of countless adventures ahead.
