Edward really meant it when he said I should go to sleep. Within seconds of me changing and switching off the lights he was snoring. I couldn't sleep. For once I was in the wrong and I preferred it when Edward called me 'baby' instead of 'pig'.
I thought if I begged hard enough he would come around but even when we woke up, he went straight to the bathroom, shut the door and when he was in his training gear he left the room. I had to move like lightning in hopes I could catch up to him but he was seated in the bus with everyone else.
We had a light warm up before we came back. We had a night match which left the entire morning to press conferences, physio training and last minute team strategies. I tried to encourage everything he said in hopes he would appreciate my support but instead he growled when we were alone, "you don't have to like everything I say just because I'm angry with you. This is a real match, not some test run."
