My lips felt glued to one another as we approached the ever imposing gates of the Coleman Estate. Where did a family get that much gold that everything seemed to be dipped into it?
The large arch gates at the entrance of the estate were dipped in gold and the large, V&E, at the front was encrusted in diamonds. They must have had a secret mine somewhere for them to use it so recklessly.
Their security outside the estate and throughout was like seeing the secret service. They were armoured with weapons and there were no smiles as we passed through.
"Are your parents-"
"They're off sailing in a yacht," Edward understood without me having to explain further, "Vasilisa is somewhere in Germany by now and Oksana is in Italy. You have nothing to worry about."
