Everyone had left. The wind blew gently, and now only Kaguya and Jibrail were still there. Kaguya had a slight blush on her face. She was deep in thought, quietly talking to herself in her mind, like she was trying to gather courage.
She thought,
"Come on, Kaguya… you can do this."
Why was she acting like this?
Because during their time in the dungeon, she realized something—her purpose in life had changed.
After her own sons, Hagoromo and Hamura, betrayed her, she felt empty. She created Zetsu to free her, and hoping to feel something again. She met Jibril, and for the first time in a long time… she felt like she could start a new family.
She was no longer the cold, distant Otsutsuki she used to be. She was just a woman now—a woman who wanted love, someone to stand beside, and a family to protect.
She was the last true Otsutsuki left in the universe. Her brother, Shibai, was no longer even fully Otsutsuki. His body had been stripped away by their father's divine runes.
Shibai had tried to become a god using their father's power, but the runes rejected him.
Why?
Because the runes choose someone with a kind and pure heart—not someone full of pride and greed.
Yes, Otsutsukis once devoured chakra from planets…
But not from those full of life.
They took chakra only from ruined worlds, already destroyed by war and hate—worlds that couldn't be saved anymore.
Now, Kaguya was remembering it all—
Her first husband, Tenji Otsutsuki, betrayed her for land and power.
Her sons betrayed her for their own ideals.
Her brother betrayed her for his obsession with godhood.
She just wanted to be free.
Free from betrayal. Free from the past.
And when she met Jibril, she thought she'd never trust anyone again… but then she found herself drawn to him.
She even created a son—Zetsu, a being of her own will.
Now, the only thing she wanted was a real family.
Seeing Zetsu grow stronger, something awakened in her. She didn't just want to protect him
She wanted to be strong too.
Strong enough to stand beside Jibril, to fight by his side, not behind him.:
"Kaguya, what happened?" Jibrael's calm voice pulled her back to reality.
Kaguya blinked, then slowly turned to face him. Her fingers played with each other, a small blush on her cheeks. She looked down, then up at him, and softly said, "Jibrael..."
He tilted his head a little, watching her. "Yeah?" he asked gently.
She took a deep breath, calming herself. "I've spent... centuries alone," she said, voice steady, but her eyes full of pain. "I fought beside my father... then against my brother... Then even he turned me into a weapon. The ones who once respected me hunted me down. I was abandoned. Again and again."
Jibrael listened, silent but focused.
"I never thought I'd meet someone I could trust," she continued. "Someone who would train me, protect me... and just be there."
She looked him in the eyes now. "There's a war going on in my clan — the Ōtsutsuki. My father was the King. I was the Princess. My brother, Shibai, the Prince."
She clenched her fists. "Yes, we harvested chakra fruits… but not from living planets. We only took them from worlds already ruined by war and destruction. But my brother... he became greedy."
Jibrael's eyes narrowed slightly, nodding. He already knew this from the knowledge gifted to him by his father — the true God.
"Shibai... He wanted more. He ate chakra fruit from planets full of life... civilizations... people. It changed him. Corrupted him."
She looked away. "My father tried to stop him. He warned him. He fought him. In the end, he killed him."
Her voice trembled for a moment, but she kept going.
"But it didn't end. Shibai reincarnated using the karma seal. Over and over again. Gathering more followers. Eating more chakra fruit. Ten thousand… maybe more. And when that wasn't enough—he wanted the Runes. The sacred power of my father, given to him by Kami Otsutsuki— the creator of all Otsutsuki who died while creating us as his Last Creation."
Jibrael's eyes widened a little. He had heard about these Runes.
"My father fought again. This time… he won. He destroyed Shibai's body. But Shibai's soul survived. And my father used the last of his life to seal him away in another dimension — Bhagya."
Kaguya sighed. "After that… I was alone. Again."
She paused, collecting her thoughts.
"I wandered across space… carrying a premature chakra fruit that wouldn't harm its planet. That's when I arrived here... and met Tenji."
She looked bitter now.
"I used a little mind trick. Made him think I was a goddess from the sky. And people started to believe it too. But over time... I started to fall for him."
Her hands trembled.
"And then... he betrayed me. For land. For politics. He gave me away to his enemies. The same people who called me a goddess now called me a demon."
She bit her lip. "And I was pregnant… with Hagoromo and Hamura. No, not really pregnant. I created them with chakra. I wanted a real family... to be loved. But Tenji betrayed me before I could even try."
Her tone hardened.
"I ate the completed chakra fruit. Awakened my true power. Took people's free will and made them my White Zetsu army. I ruled this world... until Hagoromo and Hamura grew up. They saw people worshipping me... and they got jealous."
She looked straight at Jibrael now, eyes fierce.
"I told them not to let people worship me. But they wanted it for themselves. They wanted my power. So they plotted against me. And one day.. to seal me."
Her voice lowered, a whisper now.
"And that's when ... the Ten Tails was born from my emotion."
"Then… they were about to, you know… do it."
Kaguya paused, looking at Jibril. Her voice was soft but heavy with emotion.
"My Childrens… they came to me. They asked me not to be harsh on humans. To treat them kindly, like equals."
She scoffed and looked away.
"What they said sounded good… but I can sense emotions. I know the truth. Both Hamura and Hagoromo… they had greed in their hearts. I felt it back then."
She looked back at Jibril, eyes filled with hurt.
"They came to me… and asked for my power. They wanted both of them to 'watch over me.' Like I was the one who needed controlling."
She laughed bitterly.
"I didn't attack them. I didn't do anything wrong. All I did was say NO . And for that, they chose to fight me."
Her fists clenched.
"During the fight… I was distressed. That's when Tantail moved sensing my Distress . When they saw him move… they were shocked."
Her voice grew more intense.
"Tantail fired his wood nails… and they pierced Hamura. Hagoromo awakened the Rinnegan out of pure desperation. But using nature chakra, he absorbed the damage… and healed his brother."
She shook her head slowly.
"They kept fighting. Hagoromo used a Susanoo he created. He held Tantail down and started building a seal. He combined the powers of his three eyes: Rinnegan… and Riyamasun."
She looked at Jibril seriously.
"You know what Riyamasun is, right? The eye before Rinne-Sharingan ."
Jibril said nothing. He already knew. But he stayed silent, letting her speak.
Kaguya took a shaky breath.
"Then he created the Sun and Moon Seal. And with that… they touched me on my Back. They sealed me in the void. A smaller version of Bhagya… the same place my father used to seal Shibai's soul."
Her voice cracked.
"My own children… sealed me. Betrayed me."
She turned away again, eyes distant.
"Before I was sealed… I made one last effort. I created a new sun. A child. But I was too exhausted. I couldn't make a full body. So I created him from pure chakra—yin and yang combined. His name… was Zetsu."
She looked back.
"That's who he is. I created him to one day free me."
She took a deep breath.
"While I was sealed… I sense something. Hamura and Hagoromo split the Ten Tails into nine parts."
But before she could continue, Jibril interrupted.
"No, they didn't."
His voice was calm.
"I took the consciousness and the bijuu—the ones he have is Only Chakra . They're safe, hidden within lands of Toad."
Kaguya blinked, confused. Jibril went on:
"Yes, Hagoromo have bijuu power. But it won't last. Your son—Hagoromo—he won't realize why his power is fading. Without proper consciousness, he won't understand what's wrong. And when he tries to keep forcing chakra… it'll mess up his flow. He'll develop chakra cancer or already did."
Kaguya nodded slowly, processing it.
"Because chakra sharing isn't that simple," Jibril added.
"There has to be a connection. A bond. If someone shares chakra without permission… it can backfire. It can destroy their own chakra."
Kaguya clenched her hands and nodded again.
"Then… you brought me here. You freed me."
She smiled softly.
"My child Zetsu you saved him too … and gave him human body. His chakra… it was on the same level as my father's. Wild. Untamed. But so pure."
"Then you gave him new eyes—Ryakugan," she said with a little awe in her voice.
"I saw him train. He became stronger. Stronger than me… maybe even as strong as my father. But still… he lacked experience. If they fought, my father would win."
She chuckled.
"But when you gave him those dungeon tasks… I agreed. I wanted to get stronger too. I didn't want to be a burden anymore."
She looked down for a second, then back up.
"And while all that was happening… something changed in me."
She bit her lip.
"Something I never thought would happen. Not after being betrayed by my own people. Not after being betrayed by Tenji… and by my own sons."
Kaguya took a step closer to Jibril.
"But somehow… I started to feel something again. Something warm. Something real."
She looked into his eyes.
"I started to feel… love. For you."
Jibril blinked, looking a little surprised, but calm.
"You're that person, Jibril," she said.
"The one I could finally trust."
Jibril gave a small smile, trying to hide it, but she noticed.
"Kaguya… I know," he said softly.
Her eyes widened.
"How?"
He looked away, then back at her.
"When you were fighting… we could see everything. And I heard what you said."
Kaguya's face turned red. She muttered under her breath,
"Stupid… stupid… I should've…"
Her voice trailed off as her cheeks turned bright pink, and she looked away, flustered.
