Inside the dungeon, Kaguya let out a scream of pain. But then—
"Calm down!"
A voice echoed in her mind.
She took a deep breath, and suddenly, the pain started to fade. Instead, she felt warmth spreading through her body. As she panted, she could feel it—her chakra had increased at least 50 times. Even her height had increased a little. She had awakened something new, a powerful jutsu, but there was no time to focus on it.
Then, she looked at her son.
And froze.
She was shocked.
Zetsu's eyes were still closed, and he was panting heavily. But the amount of chakra he had now…
At least 80 times more than before.
And then, as Zetsu slowly opened his eyes, Kaguya froze again.
These weren't just Ryokugan anymore.
They looked like Jogan, but merged with Ryokugan.
She knew what Jogan was. It was the eye of her brother, Shibai Otsutsuki, the power he gained after absorbing countless planets.
But Zetsu had awakened it naturally, without devouring planets.
This was beyond shocking.
Now, Kaguya truly understood how powerful Ryokugan was.
Most dojutsu had limits. If someone awakened Jogan, any other dojutsu they had—like the Rinne Sharingan—would be overwritten. Jogan would become the superior eye.
But here…
Ryokugan was not overwritten.
It had fused with Jogan.
No—it had surpassed Jogan.
Kaguya could see the patterns in Zetsu's eyes. Ryokugan wasn't just merging with Jogan. It was empowering it.
Zetsu, now fully awake, felt like he was seeing the world for the first time.
Like he had achieved enlightenment.
He remembered what his master, Juppin, once told him:
"Ryokugan is not like the Rinnegan. The Rinnegan gives you paths. But Ryokugan gives you concepts."
For example—
Rinnegan allows you to repel and attract objects.
Ryokugan gives you control over the very concept of gravity itself.
Rinnegan lets you travel between dimensions and open portals.
Ryokugan grants control over the very concept of space—but you must master it yourself.
Simply put—
Ryokugan was far stronger than Rinnegan.
Kaguya then turned her gaze toward the exit.
Zetsu, who was observing everything, also noticed it.
And then, a voice echoed—
"You don't have to worry. Just flare your chakra to the max."
It was Jibril's voice.
Zetsu and Kaguya looked at each other—then nodded. They unleashed all their chakra.As The space around them started to crack.
Then—BOOM!
Everything shattered, turning into nothingness. They were panting, completely exhausted.
When they looked around, they saw Gamamaru standing there.
And next to him was Jibril Who was smiling at Kaguya.
And to her own surprise— She blushed.
Kaguya looked at Jibril and Gamamaru, who were both staring at her. She was panting heavily, just like Zetsu, her son. They had just come out of the dungeon where Jibril had sent them to train.
Seeing this, Jibril smiled. "So, you finally returned."
But something felt off to Zetsu. He took a deep breath, calming himself, and looked at his sensei. "Sensei… how much time has passed?"
Jibril's smile didn't fade. "It's been 32 years."
"WHAT?!" Zetsu and Gamamaru shouted at the same time. Even Kaguya was stunned. She muttered, "Thirty-two… years?"
The most shocked of them all was Gamamaru. He had been watching Kaguya and Zetsu fight through the dungeon's 100th level. By his count, it had only been four hours. How could 32 years have passed?!
Gamamaru turned to Jibril, his voice filled with confusion. "O Angel of God, how is this possible? We have only been watching them for four hours!"
Jibril chuckled and said, "Look around properly, Gamamaru. You're a sage—you should be able to sense it."
Gamamaru, though young, had a strong connection to natural energy, so he focused his senses. Kaguya and Zetsu did the same.
Zetsu activated his Ryaku-Jogan and immediately noticed something—a barrier.
"A barrier…" he muttered.
Kaguya, using her Rinne Tensei-Gan, also saw it and turned to Jibril for an explanation.
Jibril nodded. "Yes, you have been fighting for 32 years straight. This barrier slows down time for me and Gamamaru, but outside, time moves normally."
Everyone was shocked.
Kaguya now understood something—she had some power related to time as well. But right now, she was exhausted. Thirty-two years of nonstop fighting had drained her.
And more importantly, there was something else on her mind… How will she propose to Jibril?
She coughed and blushed, trying to push the thought away.
Jibril noticed their exhaustion and turned to Gamamaru. "Gamamaru, go prepare a place for them to rest."
Then he looked at Zetsu. "Zetsu, I'll explain your new abilities tomorrow. For now, go help Gamamaru."
Zetsu nodded. But before he could leave, Jibril spoke again.
"By the way, you've mastered your power. I'm proud of you."
Zetsu's eyes widened slightly before a small smile formed on his lips.
From the moment he was born, Jibril had raised and trained him. To him, Jibril wasn't just his sensei—he was like a father.
With that thought, he followed Gamamaru to get some much-needed rest.
