Chapter 126 - Chapter 124

Haruka, clad in the powerful Kabuto armor, moved with lightning speed as he faced the mind-controlled Kara. Her fist slammed into the concrete floor, shattering it like paper. Haruka's reflexes allowed him to dodge the powerful blow, his Kabuto Zecter thrumming with energy.

Activating his Clock Up, Haruka blurred into a blur of motion, circling Kara at dizzying speeds. He unleashed a flurry of precise strikes, making her kneel to the ground.

But Kara was not one to stay down for long. With a furious scream, she unleashed a barrage of searing heat vision, the crimson beams lancing out in all directions. Haruka weaved between the blasts, his enhanced agility allowing him to avoid the deadly onslaught.

Haruka's plea echoed through the air. "Kara, stop! I'm just trying to help..."

Undeterred, she unleashed her freezing breath, coating the ground in treacherous ice. Haruka's feet slipped, sending him crashing down. In an instant, Kara was on him—her powerful blows raining down. He winced with each strike, refusing to fight back.

In a desperate moment, Haruka activated the small device Lena had provided. A piercing soundwave erupted, its high-frequency assault disrupting Kara's attack and forcing her back. Seizing his chance, he kicked her off and scrambled to his feet.

Kara howled, hands pressed against her throbbing head. The pain was intense, overwhelming.

Kara, disoriented by the piercing soundwave, rushed towards Haruka with a feral growl. Reacting swiftly, Haruka dodged her charge and swiftly got behind her, locking her in a rear hold.

"Kara, you have to snap out of this!" Haruka pleaded, his voice strained. "I know you're in there, fight it!"

The high-frequency soundwave continued to echo through the warehouse, disrupting Kara's mind control. Haruka felt her muscles tense as she struggled against his grip, but he refused to let go.

"That's it, Kara," Haruka encouraged. "You can break free. I believe in you."

Kara's movements grew more erratic as the soundwave's effects intensified. Haruka held on, determined to free his friend from Anur's vampiric control.

Kara flew up, slamming Haruka into the pillars and walls with tremendous force. But Haruka refused to let go, his grip iron-tight around her.

"It's time you snapped out of this, Kara!" he shouted, and with a swift motion, he grabbed her head and slammed it hard with his leg.

The impact disoriented Kara, and she began to fall. Seizing the opportunity, Haruka piledrived her, their bodies crashing to the ground in a thunderous impact.

Dust and debris filled the air as Kara lay motionless, Haruka crouched over her, panting heavily.

Haruka looked down at the cracked device in his hand, the high-frequency soundwave no longer disrupting Kara's mind. He tossed the broken device aside and leaned closer to the dazed Kryptonian.

"Kara? Can you hear me?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

Kara blinked slowly, her eyes finally focusing on the Kamen Rider's armored form. "Kamen Rider? Is that you?" she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

Haruka nodded, relieved to see the recognition in her gaze. "Yes, it's me. Are you alright?"

Haruka leaned in, his voice gentle but probing. "What's your go-to comfort food?" A test, subtle yet deliberate.

Kara didn't miss a beat. "Potstickers from that little place near CatCo. Extra soy sauce." Her eyes flickered with recognition, a hint of her old self returning.

"Okay... favorite movie?" He watched her carefully.

"Easy. 'The Breakfast Club'. I've got a soft spot for 80s coming-of-age films." A smile tugged at her lips.

Haruka pressed on. "Most embarrassing moment?"

She groaned. "When I accidentally used my heat vision during my first high school dance and singed the gymnasium curtains."

With each response, Haruka's tension eased. Her answers were precise, personal—unmistakably Kara. Whatever mental hold Anur had maintained was broken. She was back... truly back.

Unable to contain his emotions, Haruka pulled Kara into a tight embrace. "I'm so glad you're back," he said, his voice thick with relief.

Kara felt a bit embarrassed as Kamen Rider pulled her into a tight embrace. She gently pushed him back, looking up at the armored hero with a confused expression.

"What happened?" she asked, her voice laced with uncertainty.

Haruka quickly filled Kara in on the events that had transpired - how Anur Vladias had taken control of her mind, and how he had fought to free her from the vampire's influence.

"I'm so glad you're back, Kara," Haruka said, his voice tinged with relief. "I was worried I might not be able to reach you."

Kara listened intently, her brow furrowed in concentration. "Thank you for saving me, Kamen Rider," she said, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I'm just glad it's over."

She paused, her gaze meeting his through the visor of his helmet. "What do we do now?"

"Well, there is still your aunt we have to deal with. And that fireball guy and the vampire are also nearby. Superboy and my Auto Vajin are keeping them busy."

Kara's expression hardened with determination. "Then I'll deal with Anur Vladias. He's going to pay for trying to control me." She clenched her fists, her eyes narrowing. "I won't let him get inside my head again."

Haruka placed a hand on her shoulder, his tone serious. "Be careful, Kara. I hate that I had to snap you out of his control once already. Don't let it happen again."

Kara nodded, her gaze unwavering. "I won't make the same mistake twice. This time, I'm going to make sure he regrets ever trying to mess with me."

With that, Kara took to the skies, her cape billowing behind her as she set off to confront the vampire.

"There she goes," he said, his voice tinged with concern. "Guess I'll go help Superboy."

Haruka turned and raced towards the ongoing battle, his Kamen Rider armor giving him enhanced speed and agility. As he approached, he could see Superboy grappling with Astra and Ignakos, the fiery Fort Rozz escapee. Haruka knew he needed to lend his ally a hand if they were to overcome these formidable foes.

Haruka launched himself towards Ignakos, the fiery Fort Rozz escapee, with a barrage of swift strikes. The powerful blows sent Ignakos crashing into a nearby pile of crates, the impact scattering debris in all directions.

Superboy, locked in combat with Astra, paused momentarily. "Is Supergirl alright?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

"She's free from Anur's control," Haruka replied, his tone resolute. "I managed to break through to her."

Astra's eyes narrowed, her expression one of disbelief. "Impossible," she muttered, her gaze darting between Haruka and the fallen Ignakos. "How could you have freed Kara this quick!?"

Haruka stood tall, his Kamen Rider armor gleaming in the dim warehouse lighting. "Don't underestimate us," he warned, his voice carrying a hint of defiance. "You and your accomplices are in for the beating of a lifetime."
