Chapter 125 - Chapter 123

Kara stood motionless, her expression vacant as if she were a lifeless doll. Astra, her aunt, lay inside the warehouse, her body bruised and battered from the previous confrontation with Haruka. Anur Vladias, the vampire-like alien, hovered near Astra, ensuring her wounds were tended to and that she was resting comfortably.

Ignakos, the fiery creature from Fort Rozz, watched Kara with a predatory gaze, his molten form flickering ominously. He longed to exact his revenge on the Kryptonian, to make her pay for the sins of her mother. But Astra's commanding presence held him back, her words echoing through the dimly lit space.

"No, Ignakos," Astra said, her voice weak but firm. "We cannot harm Kara. She is not our enemy."

Ignakos clenched his fists, the heat radiating from his body intensifying. "But she is the daughter of the one who imprisoned us. She must pay for her mother's crimes."

Astra raised a hand, wincing slightly at the effort. "I'm not going to repeat myself, Ignakos. Don't touch Kara. She is one of us now."

Reluctantly, Ignakos backed down, his molten form dimming slightly. He knew better than to defy Astra, especially in her weakened state. The warehouse fell silent, save for the faint sound of Astra's labored breathing.

Astra grimaced as a sharp pain shot through her side. Anur Vladias, the vampire-like alien, placed a cool, damp cloth on her forehead.

"You must rest, Lady Astra," Anur said in his cultured, Eastern European accent. "Your wounds will not heal if you continue to push yourself."

Astra wanted to protest, to insist that they needed to act quickly, but the weariness in her body betrayed her. With a resigned sigh, she allowed her eyes to flutter closed, trusting that Anur would keep watch over her as she recovered.

Haruka, clad in his Kamen Rider Kabuto armor, approached the warehouse cautiously, his enhanced senses alert for any sign of danger. He had followed Lena Luthor's intel, hoping to rescue Kara and confront Astra and her allies. But as he drew closer, he could sense the tension within, the delicate balance of power that hung in the air.

Gripping the Kabuto Zecter tightly, Haruka steeled himself for the confrontation that was to come. He knew that Kara's life hung in the balance, and he was determined to do whatever it took to bring her home safely.

Haruka peered through the doorway, his eyes widening as he took in the scene before him. Kara stood motionless, her gaze vacant, while Astra lay recovering, her wounds tended to by the vampire-like Anur Vladias. Ignakos, the fiery creature, stood guard, his molten form casting an ominous glow over the dimly lit warehouse.

Knowing he couldn't afford to be seen, Haruka contemplated his next move, but Kara suddenly turned her head, her eyes locking onto his position. Realizing he was exposed, Haruka stepped forward, his Kabuto Zecter gripped tightly in his hand.

Astra's eyes widened in surprise as she saw Haruka approach. "You found us so quickly," she said, her voice tinged with a hint of admiration.

"I had help," Haruka replied, his gaze shifting to Kara, who remained silent and unmoving.

Ignakos glared at Haruka, the flickering flames of his molten form casting an ominous glow across the dimly lit warehouse. "You may have bested me once, Kamen Rider, but this time, I'll have my revenge," he growled, his voice rumbling like distant thunder.

Haruka met Ignakos' fiery gaze, his Kabuto Zecter gripped tightly in his hand. "Bring it on, Ignakos," he taunted. "I'm ready for you."

Astra raised a hand, her eyes narrowing. "Enough, Ignakos. We cannot afford to be distracted by petty rivalries." She turned her attention to Haruka, her expression unreadable. "You are indeed persistent, Kamen Rider. But you cannot defeat us alone."

Haruka felt a familiar presence beside him and glanced to his right, where Superboy had landed, his powerful frame radiating confidence. "Who said he was alone?" the young hero replied, his gaze sweeping across the assembled foes.

With a rumbling growl, the Auto Vajin emerged from the shadows, its sleek, battle-ready form standing ready to assist its rider.

Haruka stepped forward, his stance unwavering. "I'm here to bring Kara back, Astra. And I won't leave without her."

Astra's lips curled into a faint smile. "You can try," she said, her voice dripping with challenge.

The tension in the warehouse palpable, Haruka, Superboy, and the Auto Vajin prepared to face off against Astra, Anur, Ignakos, and the silent, unmoving form of Kara.

Ignakos flexed his molten claws, the heat radiating from his body intensifying. "This time, I'll burn you to ashes, Kamen Rider," he growled, his gaze shifting between Haruka and Superboy.

Anur Vladias stepped forward, his pale, aristocratic features illuminated by the eerie glow of Ignakos' flames. "And I shall feast on the blood of your companions," he said, his fangs glinting menacingly.

Astra's eyes narrowed as she studied the assembled heroes. "You are indeed a formidable force, but you cannot hope to defeat us all. Kara is one of us now, and she will not be swayed by your pleas."

Haruka steeled his resolve, unwavering in his determination to save Kara. "I won't give up on her," he declared, his voice firm. Turning to Superboy, he asked, "Can you handle Astra and Ignakos?"

Superboy's eyes gleamed with confidence. "I can take them," he replied, his powerful frame radiating a sense of assurance.

Haruka nodded, then addressed the Auto Vajin. "Stall Anur Vladias," he commanded, and the sleek, battle-ready machine surged forward, its Buster Wheel unleashing a barrage of energy blasts at the vampire-like villain.

With a nod, Superboy launched himself towards Astra and Ignakos, his strength and speed allowing him to swiftly separate the two villains from the warehouse, the force of his blows shaking the very foundations of the building.

Haruka turned his attention to Kara, who remained motionless, her gaze vacant. "Kara," he called out, his voice tinged with a mixture of concern and determination. "I know you're still in there. Fight it!"

Kara moved like a puppet—lifeless, her blue eyes empty and distant. Anur's vampiric control held her in its grip. She lunged at Haruka, inhuman speed turning her fists into razor-sharp blades that sliced through the air.

Haruka's form blurred. The world around him... slowed. Clock Up activated, his Kabuto Zecter thrumming with raw energy. An instant later, he materialized behind Kara. Muscular arms locked around her waist, seeking to contain her superhuman strength.

The Buster Wheel's rapid-fire blasts thundered through the warehouse, its metallic rhythm punctuating the fierce battle. The Auto Vajin relentlessly pursued Anur Vladias—a vampire-like villain who danced between the energy bolts with supernatural grace. Each shot missed its mark, and Anur's irritation grew with every near-miss.

"Damn machine!" he snarled. "You're interrupting a perfectly good hunt."

With predatory precision, Anur's razor-sharp claws sliced through the air. His movements were a blur of deadly intent, driven by an insatiable hunger.

Superboy wrestled against Astra and Ignakos, their combined assault pushing him to the brink. Kryptonian might and searing flames converged—a brutal tag-team designed to break him. But Connor Kent wasn't about to give up. Not today. Not when his friends needed him.

Muscles straining, he absorbed Astra's superhuman strikes and dodged Ignakos' molten attacks. Each movement was a calculated dance of survival. A defiant spark burned in his eyes. They might be strong, but he was stronger. Determined.

Just gotta hold on, he thought. Just gotta keep them busy.

The clash of powers echoed through the warehouse, the very air crackling with the intensity of the battle. Haruka knew he had to act quickly, for Kara's sake and the safety of his companions. With a deep breath, he charged forward, his Kabuto Zecter at the ready, as he prepared to confront the woman he cared for, now consumed by darkness.
