Chapter 145 - Deku Squad Easter part 2

Part 2: Dorm Room Transformations

The next day was a flurry of activity as the Deku Squad transformed their dorm rooms into Easter havens.

Izuku, true to form, had prepared meticulously for the decorating process. He had sketched out detailed plans, calculated the optimal placement of each decoration, and even created a color-coded spreadsheet to track his progress. His theme was "Heroic Easter," a celebration of both the festive spirit and the unwavering dedication of heroes.

His dorm room was a testament to his strategic approach. He had draped green and yellow streamers across the ceiling, creating a festive backdrop for his collection of hero figurines, each adorned with miniature Easter bonnets. He had carefully arranged Easter eggs, each painted with the emblem of a different hero, on his desk. His All Might plushie, sporting a pair of bunny ears, stood guard over his meticulously organized study area.

Ochaco's dorm room, on the other hand, was a riot of color and fluff. It was a marshmallow dream come to life, a testament to her love of all things cute and whimsical. Giant inflatable bunnies occupied every corner, pastel-colored streamers cascaded from the ceiling, and strings of fairy lights twinkled merrily. Her bed was covered in a mountain of plush animals, each sporting a tiny Easter accessory. The air was thick with the scent of lavender and vanilla, creating a saccharine-sweet atmosphere that perfectly reflected Ochaco's bubbly personality.

Tsuyu's dorm room was a tranquil oasis of understated elegance. Eschewing the overt displays of her friends, she had opted for a more minimalist approach, focusing on natural elements and subtle details. She had arranged a vase of freshly cut lilies on her desk, their delicate fragrance filling the room. She had draped a string of handcrafted origami cranes, each folded from pastel-colored paper, across her window. A small, ceramic frog, adorned with a tiny Easter bonnet, sat perched on her bookshelf, a subtle nod to her unique quirk.

Shoto's dorm room was a study in contrasts, a reflection of his dual-natured quirk. One side of the room was decorated in cool, minimalist tones, with white lights illuminating a collection of snow-white porcelain eggs arranged on a bed of artificial snow. The other side of the room was warmer and more vibrant, with a carefully arranged display of fiery-colored tulips and a single, intricately painted dragon egg nestled amongst the flames. The overall effect was both serene and striking, a testament to Shoto's ability to balance opposing forces.

Iida's dorm room was a monument to order and precision. Every decoration was meticulously placed, every line was perfectly straight, and every color was harmoniously coordinated. He had created a series of geometrically precise Easter displays, showcasing the beauty of symmetry and balance. He had even used a laser level to ensure that every streamer was perfectly aligned. The overall effect was both impressive and slightly intimidating, a reflection of Iida's unwavering commitment to rules and regulations.

As the afternoon wore on, the Deku Squad reconvened, eager to unveil their dorm room transformations. They toured each other's rooms, offering compliments and constructive criticism.

"Izuku, your attention to detail is astounding," Iida declared, admiring the hero-themed Easter eggs. "However, I must point out that the placement of the All Might figurine is slightly off-center."

"Ochaco, your dorm is like stepping into a cotton candy cloud!" Tsuyu exclaimed, burying her face in a plush bunny. "But kero, are you sure you have enough space to move around?"

"Shoto, your room is both beautiful and terrifying," Ochaco said, cautiously approaching the fiery side of his dorm. "Are you sure those tulips aren't going to spontaneously combust?"

"Iida, your room is…efficient," Izuku said, struggling to find the right words. "Perhaps a touch of whimsy would soften the overall effect?"

After the dorm room tour, they gathered in the common room, exhausted but exhilarated. They ordered pizza, shared stories about their decorating triumphs and tribulations, and laughed until their sides ached.

As the evening drew to a close, they raised a toast to their new tradition. The Deku Squad Easter Dorm Decorating Extravaganza had been a resounding success, a reminder of the bonds of friendship that had sustained them through the trials of U.A. High and the challenges of college life. They knew that no matter what the future held, they would always have each other, and they would always have their shared memories of laughter, friendship, and the simple joy of decorating dorm rooms for Easter. This was more than just a tradition; it was a symbol of their enduring connection, a celebration of their shared past, and a promise of many more adventures to come.
