Keira had long zoned out, burying her chin in Jett's neck as she observed the park.
Watching Daniel smile nervously, Jesse nudged Zade, brows creasing in confusion.
"Zade, do you know this man?"
"I don't."
"Neither does Keira and I. Sir, who are you supposed to be?"
At this, Daniel cackled loudly, pressing his palms together as he lowered himself to their height.
Placing a hand on each of their heads, he tousled their hair and started rambling
"M-my goodness! You're both so adorable. Now that I'm this close, I fear I must've mistaken you for my nephews."
On cue, Jesse and Zade giggled childishly.
Daniel exhaled in relief, his throbbing heart gradually steadying as he grew calm again.
After a while, he raised his eyes towards Jett, a stiff smile on his face as he pretended to be confused, "Brother, did you also find them adorable and couldn't resist coming close?"
