"Why don't you call him yourself?" Xiaoguai poked his head around, smiling like a fox at Wen Wan.
"Since you're his son!" Her son's expression made Wen Wan feel like vomiting blood.
"I can't decide whose son I am." Xiaoguai gave Wen Wan a cheeky grin, triumphantly.
Wen Wan suddenly realized a fact, that her son, at some point, had aligned himself with Mo Siluo, which made her feel incredibly defeated. She tried to muster the courage to call the man, but ultimately, her own affectation defeated her.
She was almost due to give birth, she thought, he must come back, even if she doesn't reach out to him.
Seeing that Wen Wan was resolute about not contacting him, Xiaoguai purposefully made a call to Mo Siluo in front of Wen Wan: "Dad, when are you coming back?"
Wen Wan immediately perked up her ears and quietly moved closer to her son.
