Delilah's eyes fluttered open to the shrill sound of an alarm. Disoriented, she reached for her phone on the nightstand, only to fumble against empty air.
A frown creased her brow as she blinked groggily, her fingers brushing against an unfamiliar surface. This wasn't her nightstand. Her heart skipped a beat as realization dawned.
