Chapter One Hundred-Twenty:
Manu Kingdom
Reinhardt's Residence
"Elder Brennan?" I was really surprised from his sudden coming without any notice. "What are you doing here?"
"Why did you keep it a secret from me about your conversation with 'The Joker'?" he seriously asked. "And it's been days since that happened!"
"I'm sorry we just forgot to inform you." I sincerely answered.
When we went to him when we needed help to find 'The Joker' the entire Witches and Warlocks he knew did nothing because no one could find 'The Joker'. And after that, we totally forgot about telling him about what did just happen besides, we became too focus on what we had learned from 'The Joker's story. And about being part of one of us, me and Kanik, in 'The Joker's told story, it really eats the whole times and days we had.
"So, what happened? What did he tell you? What was he wanted?"
I sighed. "He just wanted to tell a story."
"A story?"
"Indeed. And that's all he did all day long."
"And what did––!" he suddenly cuts of himself and was about to leave without a word but I stop him.
"The Alter History…" with a doubt I answered Brennan and it made him pale and seriously stared back at me. "So, it was true."
"Prince Kieran--"
"No, don't lie because we heard it all from 'The Joker'." I said and added. "Why did you need to change the history?"
Past…
"That's where you're wrong Prince Kanik because the last part of the story I'm going to tell has to do with the two of you."
"And what is that?" I curiously asked.
"That… you will know after I ended my story."
"Then, tell us!" Kanik ordered eagerly.
I supposed he really badly wanted to end whatever 'The Joker' talking about yet I don't like the feeling knowing what the end is. I don't know but there is something from this odd guy and yet I couldn't explain what it is.
"I'll tell you… the truth about why they changed the history it is all because they wanted to let everything to halt."
"What!" Kanik and I answered in unison.
"What the hell are you telling?!" I madly added while Kanik takes a harsh breathing and I know he is already frustrated for waiting what 'The Joker' really wanted to tell. "Go straight to point, Joker!" I commanded that he just suddenly laughs. "What the hell! What are you laughing at?!" I madly exclaimed.
"Maiden's Grail. You all know that the possessor of the Maiden's Grail is the blood that will save your Manu Clan. To restore your souls trapped for a long time in the underworld. But not only to restore your souls but also to give more strength and power when you drink the blood of the Maiden's Grail. But it is all just a lie. Because nothing like that happens when you kill the one who holds the blood of the 'Maiden's Grail', although you might be able to get some strength and powers since the chosen one has the blood of a God, although not as pure as one of the real God still it is enough for one person to be a God like powerful one."
"That's ridiculous!" Kanik madly answered as he looks at 'The Joker' fiercely. "You were telling just a lie!" he said as he suddenly grabs 'The Joker's collar and pulled him closer. "Tell us that you were lying!" he madly ordered.
"Kanik!" I tried to stop him but he was too strong. "Stop it! Let him go and let him finish!" I exclaimed.
"No!" He firmly answered and I don't know why he was too workout about that, although I know how he eagerly wanted to find the 'Maiden's Grail' for a reason not to get back his soul but to make him stronger. That he even killed innocent lives just to find that but to no avail.
"I'll tell no lie." 'The Joker' answered and Kanik suddenly thrown him away.
"Kanik!"
"Prince Kanik!"
Me, Iman and Maury shouted together as he was about to attack him but Maury moves fast to stop him. While I went through to his front and slap his face to wake him up and it really did as I saw his eyes back to normal when it turned to golden crystal indicating how mad he is.
"Stop it will you?!" I said then we all heard 'The Joker's laugh and it even echoed around the room.
"Oh, so sorry! But it seems Sir Kanik couldn't control himself when it is all about the 'Maiden's Grail' but that was the alter history that the Elders tell."
"Why?!" I exclaimed. "Why does it all have to go that far?!" I added.
"To prevent the awakening of the God that will destroy everything." He spoke. "But is it right to prevent the awakening of destruction if the formation of all this is also to come to an end? That whatever you or the Gods do can never be prevented the destruction because that is the twin of the creation. And lastly, the reason why I said that the ending of my story has to do with you is because one of you two is the bringer of the destruction. And in order for you to know which of the two of you is referred to what I said then, look for the only person with the pure blood of a God who has lived a long time here on Earth."
"What!" we both answered in unison.
"Yes, you heard it right. There is a God who has remained here on Earth and has forever forsaken heaven and hell even the Father God, just to live here with the humans that his father created. And he can help you to seek for the truth since he knows it all. From the beginning till the end of time… and now that I ended my story. I'll leave for now." he said and just suddenly vanished.
