"Hey!"
Gu Tao leapt up with a forceful dunk, the tennis ball bounced out of bounds, and the robot referee raised the flag indicating victory. Gu Tao smiled triumphantly, setting his sensing stick aside, and in an instant both the lines on the ground and the net in the middle completely vanished, while the girl across collapsed to the ground, removing her sports headband from her forehead.
"I can't beat you, my stamina is just too poor."
She had lost to Gu Tao for three consecutive days already. Judging by the way things were going, the outcomes were unlikely to change. And while tennis looked like a gentlemanly refined sport, it turned out to be extremely physically demanding with all the hopping and jumping.
Gu Tao walked over, handed her a bottle of replenishing fluid, and unscrewed another bottle for himself, chugging it down. After a refreshed sigh, he sat down on a nearby chair: "Three days now, and it's still only you."
