Manager Ma asked with a hint of sarcasm. "I'm at least a department head, and I wasn't aware that someone had submitted a proposal to retain the network department. How did you come to know?"

"Cut the crap, I'm letting you go right now," Manager Ma said, leaving no room for discussion.
