Saying this, she picked up the cellphone from the coffee table and dialed a number.
When the call connected, she immediately asked, "Where did you all go this morning?"
Whatever was said on the other end, Wendy Jones hung up, clearly impatient, without saying a word.
With a 'bang,' she threw her phone back onto the coffee table and turned to Benjamin Griffin, "Bella Williams said they went to do a kinship authentication at the medical research institute this morning. I remember you have a distant aunt who works there. Call her now. We'll invite the dear lady for dinner tonight."
Benjamin's action of smoking paused, "You mean..."
