"But if..." Aurelia Wood hesitated before continuing, "if I pursue Arthur Baker, would you accept it?"
"What?"
Sofia Hamilton almost thought she had heard wrong.
She looked at Aurelia in shock and surprise, "What did you just say to me?"
"I knew you would react like this."
Aurelia felt a bit awkward, perhaps it was quite surprising to Sofia.
After all, Arthur and she had always been related as relatives.
It was a bit hard for her to accept such a statement suddenly.
It took Sofia a long while to process before she looked at her incredulously, making sure she wasn't joking.
