Grey slowly popped his head out of the leaves making direct eye contact with the white lion who stopped counting down.
He slowly hopped down while maintaining eye contact but to his sides two more beast popped out some bushes. All surprised to see the others also hiding to watch the epic fight.
The lion lifted the chimera corpse with his mind and compress it into a ball of flesh that seemed to be made out nine different animals. Before looking to his left "you guys too come on out"
Grey looked around and so did the others there was a total of seven of them that was spying on there fight.
From right to left was a small green goblin that looked somewhat injured, a golden toad that looked nervous, a grey rabbit looking ready to bolt, a bear cub seemingly made of bones, a fat bee with a crown, a teenage goth lizard man, and a chicken with the confidence matching the lions.
The lion looked at them all eyes faintly glow before smiling. As the lion opened his mouth to speak the lizard man thew a green sludge that upon contact with ground turned into a green mist giving the lizard time to run and cover his tracks.
Unfortunately for the naive lizard man the moment the gas burst into the air, it froze like someone freezes time around it.
The green gas slowly condensed a spiked ball that flew after the lizard.
Not even a few seconds later they all heard a loud scream followed be a small explosion.
"NOW THEN, young ones does anyone else wish to challenge ME! The great Holy Lion leader of cloud island."
He looked at them all on by one until the chicken raised her wing. "Oh?" The lion said.
"Bok* may I come back in a few years to challenge you to a duel when I reach your power tier."
The lion stared flabbergasted. And grey along with the were sweating bullets before something clicked inside greys head. And he also spoke up. " think about it OH all powerful holy lion we young ones will have a goal to achieve while you'll have some entertainment to look forward to in a few years."
Grey was trying to play on his Pride which seemed abundant.
The lion just ROARED out in laughter even falling on his back but floating above the dirt. After a few minutes of him trying to pull himself together only to burst into laughter again a few too many times.
"Oooh I like you lot I can tell what you're all thinking but it seems all are willing to if it means you can live today. So how about I make it interesting for all of you. I'm a tier eight beast literally a Demi god and a high ranking one too."

Grey raised his paw "what exactly is a year?"
"Ooo right for you herbivores it's in about… four hundred eighty moon cycles from now."
A few looks of realization passed between the herbivores
The lion just floated upright and clapped his paws together " Now who wants to be first, just know you have two choices to live those memories and you might merge your personality with theirs or just watch them and gain only what you know understand."
After some deep thoughts and chatter amongst themselves they all decided to pick something based on their current life styles and fighting methods.
The chubby yellow bee went first "holy I would like to choose to Live the memories of a cunning that lead armies to victory and helped her Hive… I mean people prosper. Please and thank you "
The lions grin just grew even wider as a pink marble formed next to him "Just know you'll wake up a few minutes in a daze just take a few minutes to cool yourself down."
The marble flew into her head putting her to sleep on the floor.
The goblin stepped up next " holy lion Me wish to live the life of a strong warrior that also smart? Please?" The goblin said with a grin ear to ear.
"Here is an strong gladiators memories." He said indifferently as black and red marble formed near him and flew into his head knocking him out.
The chicken stepped up " I'm going to watch the life of a strong physical fighter bird with no elemental abilities at all."
"Hmm know it's getting interesting now, a bird huh hmmm… I have just the beast."
"Here it is a crane with a speed rune and a master at close combat." The holy lion said as a black and white marble formed only for it to be sent into her dome.
The golden toad went up next only to be pushed aside by the bone bear. "Let me go, I was next anyway." The bear said and grey could swear he heard a smile even though his face was all bones.
"Sir holy lion I would to live the life of a powerful undead creature please."
"Too easy I got a few of those. But I think this one will suit you better in your goal for revenge." As a grey marble appeared and disappeared into his forehead.
The toad went next "um sir I would like a very knowledgeable beast, like some beast that knew important information about runes and environments. But only watch it and not live it." He said with a wide nervous smile.
The lions smile just grew showing his fangs. "Knowledge is power young one especially with such a unique soul rune you have.
Here this is a wise owl that loved exploring and learning." A brown and green marble formed and entered his head knocking him out cold.
"And finally the sweet talker what will you choose?" The lion asked curiously.
Grey sat there for a few seconds debating and finally picked one.
" I would like to watch a speedy but stealthy warrior. Maybe using an air or sound rune?"
"So basic but fine here you go a human ninja" and a white marble formed and shot towards his head and upon impact grey felt as if his head was decaying and body was burning before everything went black.
The holy lion left them all a white angels feather "it's to tell me if one of you dies while also warding off negative energy." He said leaving behind a holy barrier to protect their sleeping bodies as he flew away.
"Hopefully we meet again soon , but I got places to be be well young ones."
