Grey just sat in the tree line watching the two giant lions stare each other down.
The white lion looked fierce but elegant at the same time waiting for the other to make a move first.
The chimera on the other hand looked menacing and ready to kill anything.
The white lion spoke aloud first. "You think you can take my grand cubs bloodline and add it to your own abomination of a body without any consequences. Then I'll show you what it means to mess with my pride!"
The chimera just cackled like a deranged psycho "just know his blood tasted like rum. And now that I have your bloodline running throu-"
Before the chimera could finish what he was saying two tree logs flew at him and started beating on his head
The chimera suddenly grew plated armor around his body and curled up into an armadillo while rolling towards the white lion like a speeding bullet.
The white lion just stood there not even fazed while his eyes glowed a faint blue.
Before the the armadillo ball could hit the white lion the ground seemed to have been pulled up creating a ramp and sending the armadillo flying into the air.
After a few seconds the chimera uncurled from his ball while retracting the armor. In the span of a few seconds he grew four lizard wings from his back keeping him in the air as they just stared the other down.
The chimera just smirked "don't you find it ironic that this is a battle of the mind versus the body, you are the only one to take the FEEBLE mind rune and reach such heights. Meanwhile my clan only has to eat others for power. YET YOU of all beast dare to stop me a apostle of chaos."
The white lion just flashed his fangs "you mean apostle in training, because your still far to weak to be a true host."
The chimera stoped smiling while he just grew a turtle shell and let his wings and gravity turn him into a missile.
The white lion just watched while he just popped his neck. "I know it's been a while but you do know why we are called the holy pride right? Let me reeducate you filthy chimera."
A symbol glowed near his chest creating Two wings with eyes around the edges grew from the white lions back and a halo formed above his mane.
They meet in the middle their clash caused more and more shockwaves. Reverberating the surroundings. Most birds and other nearby animals fled to save themselves from being caught in the crossfire.
Unfortunately grey was one of the few who stayed behind and watched and watched this battle of giants that literally destroyed almost of the nearby area.
The chimera was losing the the battle in the sky for the lion was way faster the the chimera. The lion kept zooming by clawing at the chimera but he grew scales all over his body which seemed to help his regeneration somehow.
Grey was astonished at the power of these two best they didn't seem like they they were at the Demi god or tier 8 beast they didn't give off the same pressure as Donnie the Demi god of tricks but the seemed close to that.
Grey could only assume they were tier six or seven beast. And yet they seemed so far out of reality it put a smile to his face for he could only imagine himself with their power.
In his perspective the battle started out of nowhere creating a crater before they clashed which destroyed all nearby fauna.

The chimera crashed nearby just narrowly missing the tree grey was hiding waking him from his thoughts.
The chimera coughed up a lot a blood while slowly regenerating. "So you have angelic power without being bound to an angel -big deal. LET ME SHOW UOU TRUE POWER!!"
The moment the chimera finished his body started changing turning more insect like with an exoskeleton and wings. While his spine started glowing green slower giving life to the nearby fauna, creating four massive Venus fly traps near his body as more energy converged around him.
The white lion just hovered in the sky watching him build up power and just scoffed. As all nearby debris from their battle such as stones, dirt , trees and the blood of the unfortunate ones caught in the crossfire.
All this debri slowly condensed into spears all aimed at the chimera who was still charging up power.
Around the chimera more Venus fly trap appeared but a few were different colors. After making around forty half of them were purple and the other half was red.
The chimera finally looked up only to see the lion waiting in the sky with countless spear pointing at him. " aww shi-" before he could finish all the spears started raining down from the sky.
The purple plants started spraying acid in the air melting some spears while the red ones spayed fire at the others creating smoke from the collisions. After a few seconds the smoke disappeared the lion was right behind the chimera trying to claw through his exoskeleton to no avail.
The chimeras hind leg turned into horse legs and delivered a Powerful back kick that connected to the lions jaw sending him flying again.
The lion was now also bleed but what seem to truly piss of the lion was that his fur was no longer pure white. "You and your entire bloodline will pay daring to ruin my beautiful fur."
The moment the said that another pair of wings appeared smaller than the first. All four wings started to glow Immensely blinding anyone watching. After a few second the light stopped.
The lions entire body was glowing and emitting heat waves he flew to the clouds with one wing flap stopped then dived down with the first pair out like blades while using the smaller ones to spin him. He was coming down like a drill of light.
The chimera seeing this grew a turtle shell and tucked inside while two tree wrapped around him creating a wooden dome and the elemental fly traps wrapped around it and started firing at the incoming light drill.
The two collided and the plants and wooden dome had only stopped it for a second but when the light drill made contact with the turtle shell it stayed there drilling the shell for a few slowly heating it until it finally he made it through.
It looked like a open blender when blood sprayed everywhere. And while grey was watching some blood got on his face and a lot of blood went his eyes. After trying to wipe off all the blood as quietly as possible.
After a while the lion emerged from the shell and all the blood on his fur flew of him turning into six blood blades. " I can sense you, you can't hide from a mind rune user come out now or pay the price." The lion sounded very pissed.
Grey started internally panicking (shit, fuck, shit, shrooms what have I done I can't escape home what the hell do I do?"
"FIVE FOUR THREE TWOOO."
"Here go's nothing" grey said to himself.
