Lyhall stood there conflicted with his thoughts,
"I need to ask you something to clear my head possibly ." Lyhall proclaimed as Lloyd turned facing him
"Sure what's up?"
"You've known Black Sun longer than most, I mean other than the fact he's your uncle and that he's also your son too as well right…I mean that's how I always understood the curse of course unless I'm wrong… I'm so sorry sir!" Lyhall asked flustered as Lloyd laughed
"He's not my son Lyhall…I'm his nephew by all accounts, if you're wondering how the reincarnation works it's honestly complicated by also somewhat simple. I'm his nephew as I said, however George is his Father who currently is now apart of the curse itself so if George decides to take control of my body then you'll be talking with his father and not me."
"So you're his nephew but the curse itself can allow others to talk too… his father included…. ok I think I'm getting it, now as for my actually question. Do you think he'll keep his word? Giving us our greatest desire or is it just a lie to get us to corporate for whatever he is planning?"
Lloyd stood there remembering the pain of his uncle's training and lies he told of his father and mother, just to get the boys to train or even work, "Yes our generation is completely different from his and to be frank he has to do something to get your attention, to pull in. My uncle is manipulative and cunning to a fault and he does a good job doing so."
The two stood in silence before Lloyd eventually handed Lyhall the scroll he had found in the vault, "I want you to give this to my brother and tell them I sent you ok I need to take care of something first."
"Wait I understand that you are going to likely throw yourself into the fire but I wouldn't mind watching even for a few seconds."
Lloyd smirked before running off w Lyhall in toe as he made it to the main area of the Hall as he stood looking at the five chairs empty and feeling them remembering how the different memories flash of father telling their sons this will be theirs someday, he never got that. As Lyhall stood at the exist way watching and waiting as a loud boom echo as the main doors open,
"We were dragged out because of some false alarm?!" Black Sun shouted
"It seems to happen more often this Resistance is getting annoying that's for sure I for one think they need to be dealt with." Johnthan proclaimed
"I don't know seems like what they're doing is right on the money after all it's what Jericho did when the Humans attacked, Aaron as well seems like y'all forgot your history." Lloyd chuckled watching their shocked faces look towards his directions
"But you were banished…you're not allowed to be here." Lois states seemingly scared of his presence
"You're right I WAS keyword there, I mean after all when the Altima is of age I have every right to take my place and no one can stop that except-_" Lloyd bragged pointing to Walter to finish his words
"Another Altima chosen which means whatever ruling Black Sun made meant little because you could return whenever you wanted!" Walter finishing his statement
" Exactly! So it didn't matter what dear old uncle Sun did no.. no, all that matters is that I'm back ready to take back what's rightfully mine and of course everyone else's ."
"Do you honestly believe that you can waltz up in here parade around and get exactly what you're asking for boy?! Hehe I think you've forgotten who you're dealing with here we're the Alphas of the Great Generation do you honestly think you can defeat all 5 of us?" Black Sun questioned as Lloyd began to laugh
"Oh sorry the Great Generation is that what you call it hmmm interesting name well to answer your first question honestly no I didn't think so was kind of hopefully of something like this, as for your second question absolutely." Lloyd gleefully smiled as his stance was changed to that of him closer to the floor his fingers looking like claws and he spoke 4 simple words "Altima Rise Wolves Strong!" This was the Altima's Battle Cry which hadn't been heard in over 200 years Jericho was the last to create his own cry.
Lyhall immediately bolted out of the exit and headed towards the Resistance base it the location that Lloyd had given him "Holy cow I can't believe I just witnessed that?! So many Altimas before him would have speeches or quotes never actually Cries… I mean the last recorded Battle Cry was given by Jericho and his was-" His thoughts were cut off as he tripped over a tree root "Guess I gotta pay attention and make sure not to zone out next time"
As the young wolf made it to the Tree in which Lloyd told him to go to, Lyhall stood there waiting for something to happen until he noticed some initials on the tree LM and WM, this clearly was for Westen and Lloyd but below them were a few others JS, JF and DC this wasn't just a normal tree it was a pack tree it was THE pack tree Jessica, John and even Diamond had put their names on this tree above the three initials was a promise from the brothers Lyhall assumed it stated "As of today our goal is to be Free." This confused Lyhall why would they strive to be free? As he pander this Westen spoke "You know if you're curious about the promise I'd be happy to explain."
