As he heard the birds chirp and the sun come through his blinds he knew it was time. Time to wake up once again and be ready for the day another day in the world.As shinya got out of his bed moving his laptop off his bed and his snacks he stood up and saw himself in his mirror in his room. His unhealthy weight and tired look in his eyes. His medium length black greasy hair and green eyes.His self esteem was already low but he knew today was an important day afterall.
He went down the stairs after changing only to notice the creaks and splinters in their old run down house."Shinya come eat I made some toast and eggs for you and Ilya" said shinyas mom as he took his seat at the table next to his sister. His mom gave everyone their food on their plate and then sat down. "So what grade are you in now again Ilya?" Said shinya trying to communicate with what little relationship he had with his sister. "I'm gonna be a sophomore and you're taking THAT test today right? Normally I'm not one to judge you but goodluck brother" said Ilya. Ilya was the much more attractive of the siblings with long red hair from her mother and green eyes and a skinny build.
His mom was the same features as his sisters but with a massive scar on her face. "Thank you for the food mom though" said Shinya being grateful at all times or trying to be. He didn't have much growing even his house was almost in the dirt with not much money or worth going for them he knew this test meant so much to them."Do you think you're ready for it if you make it in the top 5 you get in the qualifiers I'll pray for you son. " said his mom eldra that was her name."yeah I'm scared but I'll try for both of you guys I'll try my best to succeed." Said shinya with both doubt and confidence in his voice while he took another bite of his food trying to hide his scaredness.
