Afternoon on the road leading out of Betnoble. It was a hot day, with clear blue skies. Every now and then, the wind was whipping dust storms on the road. A group of thirteen riders with scarves covering their faces was relentlessly riding on despite the searing heat and dust.
Abu Bin Zayyid was in the company of the Red Scorpion mercenary group. Their destination was the next town of Abb St Samuel Montjoie. It was going to be their last stop for the night before embarking on the last leg of their journey to the city of Jerusalem.
The journey so far ever since he left Jaffa in pursuit of the Knight Templar Yosef had not been a smooth one. While approaching Casal Maen or Beit Dajan.
