'Jack Smith? Did Angie convince him for her sake? Will Angie do that?' Or is Angie not too heartless after all? Why did Angie help her, Dis she want her to owe her?' all these thoughts were running through Betty's mind that she didn't realize Daniel calling.
"Hello, sorry thought, you can have his card. He'll be expecting you to have lunch with him. You can thank him by yourself. But don't worry he's my very good friend and I assure you, you don't have to be scared about anything" Daniel gave Betty the direction. Betty got to know that it was the same restaurant he took Angie to but was glad it wasn't the same room . She didn't want any confusion between the Rockson's. But what she didn't know was that the room was the personal room for Jack Smith whenever he visits his restaurant .
"Okay Dr. Payne I'll meet him there" Betty answered. She wanted to text Leticia about it but thought that she might be busy and stopped herself from doing so.
When the doctor and the nurse left, Betty couldn't stop thinking about Jack Smith handsome face ,she only came back to life after hearing Henry's soft voice.
"Sister please feed me , I'm hungry"
"Oh sorry dear, I'm glad you're fine. Finally."
Meanwhile when Daniel got into his office he called his best friend "what" Jack answered in a soft voice. "Bro, she accepted. I think you have a date"
"Thanks I'll give you your payment later " he answered while reading some documents. it turned out that he convinced his best friend to do this.
"Hey I said I'll take my payment after doing the work, do you know how hard I had to convince her before she accepted be good bro" Daniel Payne didn't really want payment, he just wanted to worry his stiff friend
"Ok , pick up Ellen from the airport this evening at 8 bye I'll be busy" Jack said and hanged up . "Shit is he crazy, I asked for a gift not a punishment... I can't believe it, why that stubborn girl.. ahhh" Daniel shouted from frustration.
Rockson's Mansion
"Remember what I told you dear" Esther told her daughter. Angie tried contacting Jack several times but he wasn't responding so she decided to send him lunch. After packing her stuffs she entered her car and went straight into Jack's company. When she reached, she was told she couldn't see the CEO without any appointments.
"Are you serious at all, do you know who I am , you'll regret this when I become the lady boss of the company, you'll all be fired." When the receptionists and the guards heard this they were very surprised. This was the first time a lady is claiming to be the boss's fiance so they were very confused. They called John Adams, Jack's personal assistant and because he happened to know about the boss and Angie's date, he allowed Angie to enter and they went straight to his office. The moment she saw Jack, she placed the food on a nearby sofa and run to hug Jack but was stopped by his cold voice
"What are you doing here." Jack asked angrily
"I'm sorry dear, but I couldn't be at peace when I didn't hear from you so I decided to come have lunch with you, see I prepared it" . But Jack had a frown on his face. He didn't want to see this girl at all. Never!
