Tying up the strings of my apron over my uniform consisting of a light blue long sleeved shirt, a deep blue skirt, and a pair of black flats, I pull my hair into a bun and stare at my reflection in the mirror.
I got here 17 minutes ago (that I know because I've probably been checking my phone every thirty seconds). I released a deep breath and placed my phone back in one of the smaller compartments of my backpack. It was 7:52 already so I decided it would be the right time to drop my backpack in Talia's room and go look for Mrs Wilson, since she did ask me to come in early today. I made my way out of the bathroom and headed up to Talia's room. Before I could knock, the door opened and a neatly dressed Talia appeared. I stood shocked in front of the door staring at a 'dare I say' alluring Talia. Although she wore the same uniform as I did there was something quite different about her today. She had make up on and earrings. There was something else but I couldn't put a finger on it.
"Good morning Anna" her voice brought me out of my thoughts.
"Good morning Talia" I replied quietly and She gave me a radiant smile to which I just stared at her with narrowed eyes. But then she cocked her head to the side giving me a confused look to which I raised my eyebrows at. She gave me another smile to which I shrugged my shoulders at and decided to just ignore her and concentrate on why I came up here.
"Can I leave my backpack here Talia ?" I asked.
"Of course" she replied and stepped out of the doorway so I could assess the room. I walked in and took in the outline of the beautiful room . Every room in the Wilson's mansion was beautifully furnished wether important or not. I walked to the bed and dropped my backpack on the edge, unzipped one of the compartments, took out my phone and put it in my apron pocket then zipped the compartment. I turned around to find Talia checking her reflection in the mirror. She stopped once she saw me looking. She was acting really weird today.
"We should get going" I said breaking the awkward silence between us.
"Yeah, sure" she replied smiling.
"O-k-a-y" I said heading for the door with Talia following behind and closing the door behind us. Almost at the same time a door down the corridor opened and out came Sasha, Looking different. I passed a look at Sasha, then Talia and back to Sasha. What was going on ?
Was I forgetting something important because I'm pretty sure I'm the only one underdressed here.
"Hey Sasha" I said. She didn't even pass me a look before walking off towards the staircase.
This was going to be a long day.
