"Madam," Jones' voice made them pull apart, "may I lay out the breakfast table for all of you?"
"All of us?" Emily questioned because in her mind, it was just two of them present. Her and her daughter.
"Miss Addams has brought over her friend, Miss Griffin. I'm assuming she will stay through breakfast."
"Oh?" Emily turned her attention to her daughter "You did not tell me you brought Lucy with you. Did you have breakfast yet? We all can have fun together. I miss the times when I would stay at your apartment and we were already together, all the gossip. Oh God, I miss it."
Play a smile, bringing out that bit of happiness that she felt. However, it did not escape her mind on how quickly Jones had decided on informing her mother about Lucy, who had been inside their house, a number of times.
