Chapter 1 - I am in dragon ball

*Bang* *thud*

"Ouch! Fuck, what's going on?" Alex groaned, trying to push himself up from the ground, but his body wouldn't cooperate. He looked around, trying to grasp the situation.

"You alright, young man?" a voice called out.

Alex turned his head and saw an old man with a rifle slung over his shoulder. Panic surged through him.

"Please don't shoot me!"

The old man let out a hearty laugh. "Hahaha, don't worry, son. I ain't gonna shoot you."

Alex exhaled in relief and took in his surroundings. He was in a dense forest, and not far from him lay a strange creature with blue wings. Blood pooled around its lifeless body.

"What… is that?" Alex asked, pointing at the monster.

"That's a pterodactyl," the old man said as he helped Alex to his feet. "I saved you from it. Don't you remember? It was carrying you off to its nest. I was out hunting when I saw it."

Alex furrowed his brows, trying to recall.

"You're lucky my aim was good," the old man added, slinging Alex's arm over his shoulder to support him.

"Thanks… but I don't really remember where this is or how I got here," Alex admitted, feeling a dull ache in his head.

"Probably hit your head when you fell from such a height," the old man said as they made their way out of the forest.

As they walked, Alex racked his brain, trying to piece together how he ended up here. He remembered his name, his life—everything except for last night. It was all a blur.

They finally arrived at a small village, which Alex learned was called Olive Village. The old man led him to his home.

"You live here alone?" Alex asked.

"No, my wife's here. But my daughter is off studying in the city," the old man replied as they stepped inside.

Alex ended up staying there for a month while he recovered. During that time, he slowly came to a shocking realization—he was in the world of Dragon Ball. The village was just a few miles from West City, home to Capsule Corp. That meant… he was in Dragon Ball universe.

And the year? Age 756. Just a few months after Goku and Piccolo Jr.'s fight.

Alex sighed. This is insane. He had followed Dragon Ball all the way to the Super Hero movie.

He could stay on the sidelines and live a quiet life… but where was the fun in that?

The old man and his wife took care of him, but now, his recovery was complete, and it was time to move on.

The next morning, Alex stood at the village entrance, ready to leave.

"Goodbye, old man. Take care of your health," he said with a grateful smile.

"Take care, kid. And don't be reckless," the old man warned.

Since Alex had nothing to his name, the old man had given him enough supplies to last a week. With that, he set out on his journey, heading toward the mountains—somewhere secluded where he wouldn't be disturbed.

After traveling for a while, he found a river flowing near the village. He knelt down and looked at his reflection.

Not bad. He stood at 1.83 meters, had short black hair—similar to Krillin's in Dragon Ball Super—and dark brown eyes. Nothing flashy like blonde hair or blue eyes. He looked like he was in his early 20s, with a lean build—not as muscular as the Z Fighters or even Kid Gohan.

Pushing aside random thoughts, he focused on his goal. He sat beneath a tree and closed his eyes, recalling how Gohan had taught Videl to fly.

But unlike Videl, Alex wasn't a martial artist. It took him three days just to float, and a whole week before he could properly fly using ki. Even then, his speed was nothing impressive.

After that week of training, he took a deep breath, looked toward the horizon, and took off—his next stop, West City.
